How do I tell whether they're being sincere or not?

This sort of thing is so disheartening. Rape is such an awful crime, but so much of it involves what people said to each other in private and what they were thinking and feeling. What do courts even go on in cases like this? It seems like the most they can do for either side is try to predict who's more likely to be

This mentality is really starting to bother me. If an asshole tries to defend their awful opinions with logic, people turn around and start saying that using logic is for assholes. Assholishness isn't a literal plague that poisons everything coming into contact with it. They're falling for a trap their opponents

Y'know, a holster for an inhaler sounds kind of fun. I kind of hope Rudy's wearing it in future episodes.

At first I read this last line as "MLK has film footage of [Jesus]"

That was partly my fault, after replying I realized I might have misinterpreted what you said but was too lazy to edit my comment.

Nah, I checked, that was the last 15% of the bit. The first 85% was him showing the disparity between public conceptions of Trump, and reality.

My favorite thing here is that you took care to make sure he never actually said anything that proved he knew what the sky was.

I mostly don't care about grammar, but this is the one frequent mistake that really bothers me. I guess because it just seems wrong for a phrase to evolve such that it means literally the opposite of what it is intended to mean. That poor "not," for years sliding deeper and deeper into its "could," has finally been

There was this really interesting conversation I found talking about political mentalities and how they've changed political discourse over time, especially before and after 9/11. From the end of that discussion:

I think the important question is, what percentage of viewers on that video were coming to it after being told about it, and immediately paused it as soon as it began just so they could share their opinion of something they have vague, second-hand knowledge of in the comments?

It is, my only criticism is that it needs more quotes added. Surely he's said more stupid things by now.

The author of Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal would disagree. He used getting married as an opportunity to make the new family name even weirder.

It's actually a somewhat nuanced point, which as usual has gotten lost in the hashtagization of the point.

He's abusing the power of his name. I have lost my respect for it.

I'm most happy that it works combined with the Trumpweb extension, which puts a stupid Drumpf quote between any mention of "Donald" and "Trump" (and "Drumpf," since it seems to take priority over the other extension).

Frig, now Tessie is stuck in my head.

No, that's just making up a stupid-sounding insult. The point of calling him Drumpf is to separate him from the character Trump. Evidently it's not a very effective tactic considering how many are missing the message behind it, but it's not just another made up insult.

Literally a five-headed dragon.

My grammar is dead, you jerk! Nobody knew her more than me!
