The company was his horcrux.

It’s now a little difficult for me to watch because of the involvement of both Kevin Spacey and Bryan Singer, but I loved Superman Returns. IIRC, a bunch of nerds complained about the movie being too Jesus-y, because everyone loves to complain about how Superman is portrayed, and if it’s not 100% in line with what

We know it’s okay to make a lead character for a big budget movie “square” and straight edge because Marvel did it with Captain America. It can absolutely be done

Superman Returns was good and a financial hit. But nope, they had to reboot and bring in a bad actor to mope.

And don’t be afraid to make Superman a square- that’s his charm- it’s what makes him human.

Nintendo making risky decisions like this is what makes them who they are. Imagine if they never fumbled around with ROB, the light gun, the power pad, the rumble pack, handheld portable gaming, the 3D analog stick, the Wii remote, glasses-less 3D, the tablet controller..... Lots of what people call “Nintendo’s

I think the reason people have such an emotional response to Nintendo is not just their ability to tap into our nostalgia like no one else, but also their ability to take risks in an increasingly risk-averse world. It really does feel like they are just a bunch of tinkerers trying to make people believe in fun again.

I do think it’s died down a bit, but this article really highlights why complaints/worries about Nintendo focusing on “gimmicks” are overblown now. The Switch does have a bunch of these quirks/gimmicks loaded in them, but for basically an entire year they mostly went unused, and Nintendo released a bunch of games that

Right? As if viewers don’t, or can’t, understand that the CW TV shows and the movies are separate universes with alternate takes on the characters.

But...but...we all know gritty is great for superheroes! Just ask DC.

“I’m a little concerned about the film’s representation of the Autism Spectrum, but I’m trying to withhold judgment until I see it.”

I don’t know what Golamco’s experiences with autism are, but some of the cues and moments here feel more like how a writer thinks autistic people behave, rather than how they actually behave, which of course risks falling into stereotypes instead of properly representing the community.

I have a family member on the spectrum, and there are elements presented here that didn’t sit right with me. I don’t know what Golamco’s experiences with autism are, but some of the cues and moments here feel more like how a writer thinks autistic people behave, rather than how they actually behave, which of course

I was thinking about this during the Crisis on Earth-X episodes. It worked so well because we have years knowing these heroes and they have years of history together and they’ve been in different team-ups together before and know each other so even when there is ton of them and some only get one shot to shine it still

I would have sent in back and got a new one, when they work they work, if you have issues with them they are usually not worth living with and MS are great about doing warranty replacements for pretty much any issue.

That is for consistency reasons. The SNES version was localized as “Final Fantasy III” (SNES)

This is FFVI. AKA the best Final Fantasy.

I actually loved the near future stuff, and sorely miss that story line. The rampaging digital consciousness kind of wrote them into a corner though.

It’s almost as if the screenwriter, director, and actor all believed the story was worth telling and the character was interesting as opposed to you know “how could anyone be Superman and NOT kill people?”
