Correct on both counts.

Yep. Brain fart, lol.

She’snot a piece of shit. Stop with the childish NONSENSE.

Let's be honest: the anti-Rowling crowd is composed of ignorant morons looking for a reason to feed their anger addiction.

Any list that puts Agents of Shield as worse than Echo has zero credibility.

Agreed except for you GoT comment. There was no heel turn. Dani was a lunatic from VERY early on. She was never a hero.

Brain fart. I meant Wii, actually ;)

I recall when switch came out and all the “hardcore gamers” (a euphemism for “Insecure asshats”) laughed, jeered and promised it dead on arrival, an instant flop.

Time will tell, I guess. Nintendo is nothing if not unpredictable :p.

Yep. In truth, the best star trek movie (making "Most Trek -like") is The Motion Picture, specifically the director's cut remastered 4k.

That movie is better than people remember. Kirk asking, "Excuse me, but what does God need with a starship?" is fucking classic and brilliant.

That makes zero sense.

Not as badly as Discovery fundamentally misunderstands it. Kurtzman has spent years trying to turn Star Trek into Star Wars.

Maybe it could turn out that Discovery was just a holodeck novel 🤣

Star Trek was never about “Utopian Socialism”. It was about HUMANISM, envisioning a future in which people had mostly moved beyond pettiness.

Conversely, every independent studio that’s ever gone out of business laid off every single one of their employees.

Corporations aren't your friends any more than the government is. The difference is that a company's life depends on its ability to *persuade* people to buy things from them. When you see a rich, successful company, do t make the mistake of seeing ONLY that. You're seeing a lot of customers who happily bought stuff.

Well, I think it’s tough to conclusively say that. Obviously people are often enough still willing to pay $60, or they’d have no choice but to drop prices to move units. Most likely as the user base expands, it’s new players buying those full price games. Hard to blame them for keeping a $60 price if people are

Maybe. Hard telling. Last year looked lean early on, too, but then they came out swinging with hit after hit. 2023 was probably the best year switch has ever had in terms of game releases.

Depends on the game. Nintendo games tend to hold value longer for a simple reason: they are among the highest quality titles in the industry.
