And I'd like more good rpg's too, but tbh, from where I'm standing there's significantly less of them to go around for every platform. The vita's gained some ground in japan though so that could change.

Ahhh so you're more a disappointed owner who really loved the psp games.

How come I can't imagine finding a picture of someone holding a PS Vita being easy?

Indies are the exact opposite of shovelware, so that wouldn't really make any sense.

Sounds erotic. Thank you!

The psp is actually a horribly designed console. A playstation 1 with only one analog, and a terrible analog at that. Terrible UMD's. Some UMD games I just can't play at all because of a home button error. The truth is the psp was propelled mainly by the playstation brand, it was a trash console itself. The vita is

"PSP was highly regarded for its JRPGs" True but irrelevant.

Can anyone who went to pax tell me if the crowds weren't so into the vita? I heard that there was audible groaning whenever it was mentioned on stage :( . I've also heard lots of developers want to be on the platform.

"It's just sad all the good games are from its predecessor still"

True! Like most companies I'm sure Google would prefer to run everything, but they'll enjoy having android and expanding in other areas.

The Amazon take over is underway. This makes me incredibly nervous. Their moves seem a lot more calculated than say facebook's. Apparently amazon instant video is the third most popular video streamer now, amazon cloud player is fantastic, and they have the fire tv in addition to all the tablets. They might end up

Why you snitchin kotaku???

Tearaway was going up against the launch of the xbox, and a week before the launch of the ps4. If they had done in america, what I believe they did in the UK, bundle it and push it for christmas, the game probably would have done better. And for a game like tearaway, where it's inherent mass appeal is so obvious? It's

Sony's bundles don't really make any sense. The primary market for handhelds are kids and casual gamers, but a littlebigplanet vita bundle? No. A bundle of mature third party adventure game The Walking Dead on every other platform? Yes! Only bundle on the shelves! Killzone Mercenary, released in time for holidays,

You're right, clearly those are our only two options. Clearly the entire industry is just grizzled soldiers and nintendo are the last bastion of color and creativity, all hail. He just said he's not into it, you liking the art direction is irrelevant. He never said he'd prefer a brown and grey game about grizzled

Yeah I hear you as far as potential goes, but I think the wide variety of titles the vita can support is in some way it meeting it's potential. A big part of what I love about the vita, is that it's capable of supporting all kinds of games, and people scoff at ports, but the fact that all those games are possible is a

To be fair you didn't even buy tearaway... :/ . The way people stan so hard for the ports and multiplatform indie games, is kind of a testament to the quality of the hardware. The vita is such a great handheld, that it will have you wanting to play those games you can play other places, only on vita.

Thank you so much Insomniac.

Thank you!

It'd be too expensive. The more expensive it is the less likely it will become a mass market device.
