Buy yourself a vita. A variety of unique games, and for those who don't seem to have the time for gaming they used to, it might be a godsend.

The first movies nailed peter parker, but in my opinion they nailed like 60s spider-man. Not in a bad way at all, it all just seemed very reminiscent of the early comics. The new movies are doing a bad job with peter parker, but andrew makes a good spider-man.

Anyone know how sales were for this game? I'd imagine they would have sold more with an initial vita/psn/xbla release.

Ahhhh! I really appreciate the response. The game is back to being one of my most anticipated upcoming games. I didn't think about how you would handle the difficulty curve.

I think I'm a little less excited now. I like well designed levels. I'm okay with a procedural options but I'd like to be able to play the developer designed ones.

And it would sell even more on a platform with sharing features and less competition!!!! Catherine ports for everybody!

Exactly!

Port Catherine to ps4/Xbox one!!! Empty shelves and sharing features will do it a world of good!

:( Oh my god no. Thanks for the heads up the game is a priority now, it looks great on vita. Some games I like having physical copies when available for reasons like this!

I'm so excited for street fighter x tekken because I remembered today that I wanted UMvsC but it's too expensive and i forgot SF x Tekken had cole mcgrath!

Different but close enough to the familiar to not be daunting or difficult for people to wrap their heads around at first glance + not so unique that it feels like you couldnt have come up with it yourself = Mass appeal? Probably. Still kind of boring though. It might be really fun to play, but it's a boring and safe

Eh when it comes to home console support, they supported the ps3 pretty heavily. It was easy when they didn't do much for the psp, or the vita, but when you're supporting your console till the end it may take a while for you to be firing on all cylinders on ps4. The vita's a shame because I love the thing and I know

Oh...well yeah totally! How often do you get to play catch with your real dad? Not often apparently.

Well you would know.

Yes I was gonna point out that even the 3ds doesn't get western support. In my opinion, all those indie games getting vita versions is fantastic. Like genuinely great, not just a consolation prize. I enjoy japanese games so I'll be glad to have my toukidens and maybe even my dangareagdsagesagdsgdspoppas. What I wanted

And that's good, more vita's in people's hands is always great because when people get it they really like it. The thing is, it's good enough to be more than just niche, and without a push from sony I doubt it will get beyond that.

I can't imagine any large number of gamers, going to the sony store, "purchasing" the vita games every month, and then deciding that the console is worthwhile without any real push. I don't think people are aware of cross buy in any large capacity, I definitely don't think they are aware they can save ps plus games to

Indie's are keeping the device alive, but sony have no real plans to give it any real push, or to take advantage of the indie titles and the cross platform games to push it out of obscurity. In order for the vita to come into it's own, games designed around it need to be worth the money. In order for that to happen it

SCEA is insulted by the insinuation that they would promote the vita.

I'd have to strongly disagree about the indies feeling too "phoney", they could potentially sell the console.
