Wrong. Just plain wrong. What makes an experience unique, is the result of many decisions made by the developer. Yes the controller is a part of that, what they decide to do with it is also a part of that, but so is the sound, the art, what the game challenges you to do, and the context it provides. That's the reason

Please read again. You can't understand the difference between the two by looking at a spec sheet or feature list.. They represent two very different visions for console gaming, and the vision for these consoles determine what they grow into for this generation.

Identical except for interface? You mean identical except for the two completely different visions they have for games consoles in the future? The expanded media hub, voice controlled living room pc microsoft hopes will allow them to sell beyond the current console gamer base, or sony's attempt to cure the industry's

You're right in the sense that it's really all about the games. And pc gaming is on a steam powered rise despite being inherently less accessible than console gaming because it has allowed for all kinds of experiences, like minecraft and kerbal space program, but really it's about everything from adventure to

I will get a chance to play persona 4, and if it goes well(which I think it will), I'll have persona 5 to look forward to. I want to give the games a shot because the style and art are really appealing to me, I'm just hoping not get dragged down with constant battles with a bad battle system, or for the game to take

I have an intense love of drawing things with ballpoint pens. Can I buy this? Any chance of this coming to vita? I'd be willing to buy it twice.

Oh definitely. Catherine stands out in this generation for me, along with a few others as some of the games that we would have been making if the high budgets hadn't forced the industry to narrow quite a bit. On it's own though, Catherine stands tall. Great concepts, great characters and voice acting, great art, and

The problem with my vita is that I have so much to play already that I don't want to add another console on top of that. We sit on opposite sides of this here fence. Our story tragic, our tale one of woe.

I probably would have been sure to play this if it was on vita :/ . I'm looking to play golden very soon. Despite wanting to pick up pokemon I don't know when I'll get a 3ds.

It's good to hear someone who played it has really good things to say about it. Odd though, Roller blocks was one of my favorites in the demo! I was excited to play it the first time I saw it in a trailer :p

Awesome! Can't guarantee it'll be great, but the demo made me really excited about my vita again after I was in a post-tearaway depression.

Hey whenever I get my ps3 I can play infinite and brothers! Already bought dmc, glad others will get a chance to play.

Yeah in practice the touchpad would be more trouble than it's worth but the lightbar and motion control is used as a cursor for typing so that might work a lot better. And of course the wiiu would work the best.

I don't really get the idea behind that. It lacks what people actually like about uncharted, so all it's really taking with it is the name and the character. Is it to strengthen the ip? Doesn't it do the opposite? I don't understand a lot of these decisions and I'm sure the games are poor.

I have finished tearaway! Incredible game. The sad thing, is that I think it has an inherent mass appeal. Which is a great irony. Sony in the uk are supposedly doing the best they can for it though, SCEA sent it out to die.

Oh definitely not. Long term, I don't want any of them out of the console race. None of them can be trusted as the only game in town. I just don't mind having a winner if I felt they worked and made the right moves for it.

No if one succeeds and others fail because of their decisions, that's a result of competition. It does us no favors to have everything succeed equally regardless of quality.

That's what I was thinking, but here's the thing. They're hopefully getting a full length movie in early 2015, with that, you know what would be a really really smart thing to do, put the game that comes at the same time or around that movie, on the handheld that is struggling to appeal to children. Which they

I don't get it. Isn't Dragon's crown a beatem up that sold 800k on psvita and ps3? At a much higher price? Why make it for mobile at all? The people that pay for things on mobile are those that buy games elsewhere, why not just release that game elsewhere? Why both mobile and free to play?

Yay for sony developing for mobile so that even they don't have to make games for the vita.
