I could be exaggerating, but i don't think so. It's affect can't really be positive. If should have included a tv-out in the next model if they wanted to give people that, instead what they would be doing is splitting the vita in half. And games are designed to lowest common denominator, with almost no developers,

Congrats but you can kind of see why that wouldn't be the same as playing a game like tearaway on a vita right? Especially when there's two touch surfaces? And you're missing the point overall, there would be no games designed for the vita if the vita tv succeeded. They would all be designed for the dualshock 3. Which

I saw that! Supposedly it was for accessories, but I guess they don't see that as part of the vita's future. That's not a huge lost to me though, I don't know if accessories are that great for a handheld. I like that they are launching in more colors though!

Thank you! I appreciate the few people who can see where I'm coming from.

It doesn't. I recommend you take a look at my other posts! I just got a lot of replies and i can't respond as thoroughly to all of them as I would like to. Honestly though I would say it makes the vita even less attractive to ps4 owners since remote play is even less of a benefit.

I'm using a touch pad so yes? I'm confused by this post. What if a game can't be played without a touch screen? what if it can't adapt without fundamentally changing the experience?

Actually it's more like nintendo releasing a wiiu without a touch screen. That's my mistake.

"any game worth it's salt", weak man. Just plain weak. Media molecule are releasing a game that would require you to tap and touch in a month. I'm not sure what the portable first thing has to do with anything. If people want to play games designed for the dualshock 3 on their tv, they can, right now.

I don't know if i replied to you yet, but check out my other replies for why I think it's a bad move to release worldwide anytime soon.

The super gameboy released 4 years after the gameboy unless i'm mistaken. The gameboy was already the gameboy. And no functionality was loss with the super gameboy. I recommend you look around at my other posts in this thread for further clarification.

Sony are releasing a vita that can't run one of the only ip's designed for the vita, tearaway. You felt the vita wasn't worth keeping, that's sony's fault. They should be making the argument for the console instead of cutting it's head off. It deserves a little more of a chance. I recommend you read a few of my other

Yes. I think the vita should get a chance to gather some momentum with the ps4. It being included in the marketing, and in a bundle. It deserves a shot, once it's established itself, or it seems like it never will then release the the vita tv globally.

Already explained in two or three other posts. I encourage you to take a look! Honestly not trying to be rude.

No not really. I've already explained this but the vita tv, if successful, would reduce all vita games to being designed around the dualshock 3. Which would make them ps3 games, in a world where there are already a surprising amount of developers signing on to making ps3/ps4 games with vita versions. Why on earth

And they'll never amount to anything worthwhile if sony kill the thing. Sony are the ones that should be building games around the thing, instead they are releasing a vita that can't even play tearaway. Instead they are reducing the vita to a dualshock and ps3, including not being very portable. Like i said, give it a

That's why i said like a year and a half. Give the vita a chance to turn around and grow before you put that out there.

It's the equivalent of nintendo releasing a version of the 3ds without a touch screen. If it actually gets popular, it means every game will be designed around the dualshock, rather than the vita itself. And with how many games have ps3/ps4 and vita versions, it kind of defeats the purpose of ever designing a game

It should stay in japan. It's kind of a death sentence for the vita when it's still trying to establish itself. Let it come out in a year and half or so.

I was thinking the exact same thing lately! The ps4's vita remote play could make both devices incredibly popular, and japanese developers may be more inclined to just make a vita and ps4 version like a lot of other indie games. Whether the decline of console gaming in japan was because developers moved to handhelds

I really think that getting those kinds of japanese titles could be possible, IF sony reach out to smaller and indie developers in japan. You can make games like the ps1 titles that look better for similar costs, I think sony just have to connect the developers in japan, with the audiences in the west. A lot of
