wow. 2012 was a good year! The Raid surely satisfied my inner 16 year old who bemoaned the poorly paced Hollywood action movies with what seemed like 40 minutes of useless exposition. Finally a movie that dispenses with that pesky plot.

I’d pretty much written these guys off after walking out of a show 20 minutes into a seemingly interminable drum duet. Ever since the Oysterhead album they seemed to be descending into pretentious jam-band navel-gazing. It’s good to hear they’re becoming more accessible again.
