Who the hell even knows what people will want in 2020? Look where we were two years ago; if you told me how the next 24 months were going to unfold, I would have said you were nuts.

From what I’ve seen of the guy, he seems like a good choice...in a vacuum. We really could have used someone who wasn’t a white guy, though; there are plenty of rising stars (I know some people shit all over her, but I like Kamala Harris. Tammy Duckworth could give it while preggo!) who aren’t a white guy.
I’m going to bet it does happen, and that at least two different Trumps will have football teams.
Some of the “experts” where obviously actors who had, like, comic book-level understanding of the warriors (I remember one of the Mafia experts was just a big Italian guy). But overall, it was fun to watch them mash up ballistic gel torsos.
We can joke all we want about Spike TV, but I genuinely enjoyed the first two seasons of Deadliest Warrior. Great dumb TV viewing.

Verne Troyer is waiting for the Minnie-Me Too movement.
So, the Dems got CHIP funding out of the compromise, and they could still force a shutdown on Feb 8, right? So they kicked the can down the road three weeks, but got kids healthcare?
I haven’t seen them all, but Best Original Screenplay looks to be especially stacked.
I’m going to say it depends on the sport, for me anyway. For baseball, I don’t remember the blowout loses (Red Sox fan, *sorry*), but I remember Aaron Boone. For football, I’d rather see a competitive game that my team loses at the end vs. an all out stomp-fest. At least then, I feel like they put up a good fight.
I don’t exactly want the government to be shut down, but I think it’s time that the Dems stop being polite and start being real. The Republicans have, so far, shown you cannot trust them in the slightest. There’s enough of a radicalized contingent that moderate Rs won’t push too hard against that any assurances you…
For you, that day in 2010 was the most important event in your life. But for a Pats fan, it was a Sunday.
I know responses to #MeToo are all over the board, but it’s nice to see someone of her stature and generation being supportive.
This problem is rampant; I hear the same thing from guys in my recreational flag football league.
Based on the first game, it was refreshing to see a pole give someone else a concussion.
Any of the four remaining teams would be good story for different reasons. I know everyone outside of New England hates the Pats, but back to back SBs, their 6th in the Brady/Belichick era, etc. is notable. Any of the other teams would be a first time winner. Also, FUCKING JACKSONVILLE!!? It’s great.
I mean, they beat Pittsburgh a few weeks ago, allowing 24 pts (Jacksonville just gave up 40+). Aside from that, and their annual shit-the-bed-against-an-AFC-East-team game with Miami, they didn’t allow more than 20 pts in any game after week 4. They had a soft schedule, but that’s some pretty sustained performance.
A lot of that was the fact that Brown and Bell made godly catches with perfect coverage on them. The Pats receives are very good, but they’re not Antonio Brown good. Gronk is the outlier, because hes a monster man crushes most guys in his wake. He did have some trouble with Eric Berry on him, and Jax has very, very…
Beat me to it. Big ups to the whole fam.
