So great to see so many familiar names in this SNS! I don’t recognize pretty much anyone commenting on the daily articles anymore. The new commenters seem hostile on a lot of the pieces. Also most of the writers seem new. Anyone know what’s up with Jez overall these days?

Hi SNS friends. Anyone still out there?

She’s fantastic in “Mom”. I remember writing it off as it was coming from the Chuck Lorre stable, but it was unafraid to go to deep, dark places that let Faris and Allison Janney (and the rest of the cast) REALLY flex their acting chops, both in black comedy and outright emotional brokenness. 

It’s so helpful his name is Pratt - it means I have to put no brain power whatsoever into trying to remember which kind of Chris this is one is...

Personally, I think its intentional. He’s a massive piece of shit and I believe 100%, he would say something like this on purpose. Allegedly, he wants ton of children, as all toxic Christians do, is being groomed for a political career, and again allegedly, left Anna after she had miscarriage. 

For me the takeaway, and I’m not being snotty, I include myself in this, is Too Many People Writing. 

I’ve spent a lifetime seeing close friends walk away without a word, leaving me wondering why. I’ve taken autism spectrum tests; the results always come back negative, but something is going on there. I feel like there must be social signals that I don’t hear, like a dog whistle inaudible to human beings. 

The story fell loudly for so many reasons.

Dr. Katz is ultimate comfort viewing for me. And I say viewing but it works almost as well as audio only, making it perfect for work.

Late to the party, as usual, but... Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace brings me waves of sheer joy through its unparalleled blend of “comedy” and “horror” (not to mention “smart” and “stupid”... so much stupid, but so cleverly concocted!) AND it’s now streaming on Amazon Prime, if you haven’t yet walked the haunted hospital…
