Lord, not that it REALLY matters, but can I ask what decade?
Mine was the last line from Catcher in the Rye. “Don’t ever tell anybody anything. If you do, you start missing everybody” or close. I was deep, man, and my picture (we were allowed to use any pic of us we wanted) was of me on a sailboat and was gorg. I wasn’t shit in high school, as I was kind of reminded at my last…
I would have wondered about my choice of an English major at my school, if I got a freshman reading list and even a *classic* YA book like Bridge to Terabithia had been on it.
I wish I could, I know if that cat had really been on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, I’d still be watching! hey-ooooooo
I don’t know if you wanted a real answer, but osmosis and context. Same with Titanic memes (personal experience, obvs)
