I believe hatchback/liftback can be used synonymously. However, I tend to think how vertical or horizontal the opening is dictates whether I call a vehicle a liftback or a hatchback. The Lamborghini Espada, Toyota Corolla, and Jaguar E-Type are all lift backs. Are all fairly low angle openings

Counter point to the “fastback” profile, 80's Chryslers that look they have a trunk are also liftbacks. Point and example, Dodge Lancer/Lebaron

Just got word from my local RE dealer that they would be getting Meteor 350s in stock here in the U.S. starting in May. So ... yeah. It’s that time of year.

Touché!

‘06/07 MPS (Mazdaspeed 6) is a first gen.

I’ll concede that the 3rd gen is better looking than the 2nd gen, but to my eye it does just look like a generation progress on the 2nd gen car. Where as I think there was a weird jump in styling between the 1st and 2nd gens.

I dunno. The last Mazda 6 I loved the styling of was the ‘06/’07 MPS. Of the cars listed above I think the stand out styling wise is the Stinger.

I mostly agree. Though I have to admit I do like the look of a Z4 hard top, even with it’s Bangle-butt (though I do have to admit the flame surfacing on the sides were a tad over the top). And the Z8 looks fantastic. But you can toss the rest of the Bangle era cars in the crusher.

Plymouth” Reliant...
You forgot the manufacturer for the 3rd very unique and distinct picture.

I agree. I won’t buy a car until I’ve seen it and driven it. I just can’t imagine buying a $20k-40k purchase site unseen. That seems absolutely crazy to me.

This was to be visible and predictable.

That’s not enough electric overhead for me to be comfortable with. Consider just possible load from 3 items... the 50A circuit for the lvl 2 charger, 50A circuit for a stove, and 40A for A/C puts you at 140A. Circuits are rated with a 20% overhead in mind, so 80% of that 140A puts you at 112A without even considering

“As much as Jalops try to deny it, SUVs are the new muscle car.

That’s what it would take for me personally. Work is a 100 miles round trip 5 days a week. If work requires me to make additional runs elsewhere then more. Plus 3 round trips from IN to GA a year, which is 650 miles each way.

No charging available at work (and will never be). Home is limited options for charging due

Thats because the progressive policies of the left, as seen by the support for and by the democratic socialists, has shifted the political spectrum so far to the left that the, of that time, policies of Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, and JFK begin to fall into the territory of what are now considered conservative view

Got kinjaed and it wouldn't let me post the pic.

Brazilian Dodge Charger (Dart)

I actually prefer the Euro Mk2 Scirocco lights to the Mk1. I think the square shapes work better with the boxy shape of the car.

Can confirm. Had a Suzuki Sidekick 4x4 with a 5spd manual. I absolutely loved that thing, even if it was slow as crap to 60. I’d love to own another one.

Counter point, I drove one with an automatic, and it was not only slow, but unentertaining to boot. I hated it.

My Mom taught me how to change oil, how to set points, and do general tune up type stuff.

My quadriplegic uncle Harold(Mom’s older brother), who was a car guy before his car accident, helped me learn to do other things like brake jobs, swap cams, adjust carburetors, etc. He couldn’t help as he was wheelchair bound,

Major party town with legal alcohol on the streets, free casino liquor, over eating, pub/casino crawling, and legal prostitution.... Now with autonomous cars. What could go wrong?
