The Unibrow styling of the front end of all the current gen Hondas bothers me immensely. When the unibrow is black on a dark car it bothers me less, but when it’s chrome or on a light color car all I see is.

Waiting with bated breath to see if it comes with about 75% fewer fake solid plastic vent panels.
The superior Mad Max movie IMO.
Yes.. bring on the liftback. Far too few manufacturers are willing to do a liftback coupe/sedan these days.
Quote me completely, don’t cherry pick. As I said... “He is of course walking that back now as “that’s not what I meant”....” after it was widely reported and received massive backlash or course.
In all fairness, he did say back on August 21st that “I would shut it down” in response to that very question in an interview with ABC news. And the info was information was redistributed on all the major news networks including NBC, CNN, MSNBC, NYT, etc... He is of course walking that back now as “that’s not what I…
There are a couple of things in this train wreck of a movie that I actually do enjoy. That being said I’ve only seen it the one time. But I don’t remember loathing it, not like I did Torque. That is a riot worthy pick. (though it’s not about racing, so it doesn’t fit I guess.)
Gumball Rally ranks pretty high up there. I do have a decently long list of movies that I love and would put in this catagory.
Yep ... This is the correct answer.
For an FJ62?.... your not talking about FJ40s right? Wow! This is all crazy talk.
Well cash for clunkers was certainly when affordable half decent used cars became things like.... $7500 for a 12 year old Civic or Corolla with 259k miles on the odometer. Where as prior to that I would have given maybe a grand for that. Prices just never came back down. After people got used to $3-5k for “VERY” used…
Yeah I get it. I’m just saying I thought it was high for an unknown quantity, I feel $2100 probably falls in line for a half decent running example. The OP seemed to suggest that any running driving car is worth $3k. We “used” to call that the $500 rule, scares me if it’s now the $3k rule. Especially since I just sold…
I don’t know... with no more information than what was given I thought $2,100 for a 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser seemed kind of high. Considering it could be barely running with 300k or 400k miles.
Plus I’ve owned an 89 4-Runner from MN, and I know what kind of rust buckets 80s Toyotas turn into with their bad steel.
I’ve owned 4 VWs built in Wolfsburg, Germany. And I’ve owned 2 built in Puebla, Mexico. The Mexican ones have actually been perfectly fine. But the VWs built in Westmoreland, Pennsylvania had a reputation for being junk and falling apart.
I remember the days when you were buying Volkswagens that you actively looked for the WVW in the VIN number, because that meant it was built in Germany. You didn’t want the one built in the U.S. (1VW) or Mexico (3VW).
Saw a Roxor running round up on the island of Put-in-Bay, OH laborday weekend. Put a smile on my face to see one out the wild and made me want one even more.
Mahindra was granted trademark license to use the design and CJ naming back in 1947 by Willys. Which was way before Chrysler/FCA/Stellantis or whatever they hell they call themselves now, owned the Jeep trademarks. They also came to further agreement in contract in 2008 which FCA is trying to welch on.
FCA also…
So much this... In fact as an FU to Jeep. They should have made the design such that. Yeah we’ll sell it to you looking like this, but for $500 we’ll drop ship a crate to you with these “accessory” sheet metal pieces in it that make your Roxor look like a Willy’s.
A $10M+ California public relations, feel good move to show the public “see electric cars are the future”. Even though they were basically useless to them and they stayed most parked for 3 years.
