Like American truck buyers actually use their truck beds, cmon.

Finance managers are equal opportunity a-holes in my experience.
I have a 2012 Abarth, which looks like your lead photo except with an analog tach and speedometer. First off I like the color matched dash insert, especially on the more quirky colored cars. And quite honestly the interior in terms of the dash layout and aesthetics is fine. The biggest complaint I hear are the radio…
I’m thinking strongly about getting a CarPlay double-din head unit for my ‘06 Volvo V70.
And neither are the stripped/hash marked areas at the front of the parking lot. Those areas are marked off for handicap access and emergency vehicles. Motorcycles are supposed to park in a normal parking space like any other vehicle on the road. And yes I do ride a motorcycle.
God so much this. I get really annoyed at a know nothing salesman who ketp trying to sell me on the talking point features that I cared nothing about. The last one, I was considering a 2016 Jeep Renegade as a Winter beater. I was interested in a Latitude 4X4 6spd manual. To which the salesman kept trying to tell me…
My ‘71 Challenger (an E-body like the Barracuda) had separate lap belts and shoulder belts. IIRC the shoulder belts were attached to the body in the usual position but were not retractable, so they ran along the headliner to a loop near the front of the window, then were folded back on themselves and the end was…
I’m gonna give you a star for this one. It made me chuckle.
Who the hell at Audi decided that what we really need is a damn Moon buggy on the streets. Does every car that is supposed to be “the future” have to look like it’s a Hollywood reject from ID4 or Armageddon? It’s like we’re reliving the 1950s all over again, only then everything was Jetsons bubble cars and rocket…
Yeah but then you own an NC, the red headed step child of the MX-5 world.
NA > NB > ND > NC
I don’t understand the reliability comments on these. We’ve got 41,000 completely trouble-free miles on ours and I have a co-worker who has done 210,000 in his 2012 without issue!
Look at OpenFlashTablet. I’m pretty sure he makes a tune for the turbo, and not just the Abarth. EuroCompulsion flash tuner should work as well. Not sure on Torx, if they have a non Abarth tune or not. And a few of the piggy backs like Madness and RoadRace may work with the car as well.
It’s just more in the way of complaints I have about how we certify cars for the U.S. market. I wish we would just adopt a reciprocity with Europe and IEEE standards.
Shakes fist in the air: “Damn you Mercedes for lobbying for the end of the grey market in the 80s.”
Madness is the one that made and sold that hood and it was crazy expensive. It was $1900 (but they would paint it for you at that price). But two things I’ve learned since owning this car. One is mods are expensive, more expensive than any other tunable car I’ve ever owned. And... Two is that whenever anyone sells…
yeah.. a lot of cars running around with anime school girls painted on the side of them over there.
Go drive an old Saab.
Take it from some one who owns one. If you were saving “at all” for that “one day”. Go buy a used one now, the depreciate like a rock dropped in a river. I see 20k miles in all years (yes even back to 2012s) going for less than $10k all day long. My 2012 Abarth is worth about $5k and it’s upsetting.
I own a 500 currently. If this is the sole direction for the model. I will not be a repeat buyer.
There was a midcycle refresh. No one wants to talk about it though because Fiat decided the U.S. didn’t need it in 2016. Probably because they had already decided that Fiat was pulling back out of N.A. But, all the rest of the world got at least a face lift update to the car, with better trims, more special editions…
