I had a ‘78 J-10 Golden Eagle for a while. It was a handme down from dad who bought it new. Metallic Dark Green with gold roll bar, wheels, side decals, and giant gold eagle on the hood. Looked a lot like the first image you posted, but you know, green. Also, mine didn’t have the brush guard.
2. Tesla has never made dollar one on their product. Any quarters they have shown to be in the black profit wise was on the back of selling EPA carbon credits to nonEV car manufacturers and taking deposits for preorders on cars not yet delivered. They’ve been in the red by 100s of millions of dollars year after year…
Even if they had A/C the post office is too cheap to service it if it were to fail. My mother is a rural mail carrier, these trucks are piles of junk barely held together with duct tape and bailing wire. It takes multiple work orders and harassment just to get the service crews to fix the things they do fix.
....now I want the Arbath turbo four-pot in a Renegade.
Unpopular opinion. I liked the Juke’s quirky styling. I test drove a Juke SV and a Juke Nismo RS. I would have possibly had a Nismo RS in the driveway, if Nissan would let you get AWD with the 6 spd manual. Instead they force you into a rubber band CVT trans, which I refuse to buy, or if you really want the 3 pedals…
But it built an empire in the form of APC selling altezza tail lights, lightup washer nozzles, neon underglow, and TypeR badges to every kid with a Civic, Cavalier, or a Neon. Well until the company went out of business in 2007.
I worked at Advance Auto for 8 years ending in 2005. That crap was everywhere. Hell APC…
Yeah, I clicked in expecting some Direzza ZIII vs. RE-71 vs. Rival 1.5 action, not this glorified all-season bullshit.
Still think the refreshed S-197s are better looking than the S-550s personally. That said, the current Mustang’s styling is light years better than Chevrolet’s current design language. It’s almost feels like GM designers have been staring at the origami spaceship designs over and Honda and Toyota and saying to…
Can’t wait to see how deep the discounts on these get after they sit in showrooms for 2-3 years unsold. Our local dealer sells Zero, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the number of them they’ve sold int he last 2-3 years was “Zero”. I’m pretty sure the same 3 bikes have been sitting in the show room for years now. The…
Zero is mass market? I’ve yet to see one on the road, and our local dealer has had the same 3 bikes sitting in their showroom for a couple of years now, next a fast moving inventory of Indian, Vicotry, and Hondas.
It’s based on the Gallant, but yeah I knew which ones you were referencing.
The Avenger and Sebring weren’t around then either. Chrysler was still selling K cars back then
I’d make the argument that the Neon with the 2.0l DOHC was a dang good car, and moved along quite well for it’s day. Especially in R/T or ACR trim.
Also the Pontiac GrandAm with the 2.3 Quad4 was a capable car as well. The same cannot be said for the Iron Duke 2.5 Tech 4 engine.
We’re getting there at an alarming rate.
Or MOT failures for mundane meaningless things. But in general you are correct.
The Ford Fusion never really found footing in the American sedan market ...... While Ford did move a lot of units, the automaker didn’t make much money doing so
Can’t wait to pack a bunch of gravel and dirt in those spokes and unbalance the hell out of that tire. It’ll be fun watching then bounce down the road like they are driving over railroad tracks at highway speeds.
