You’re an English major, aren’t you.
You’re an English major, aren’t you.
Really, that’s a win-win. Nothing good can come of the blend of superstition and ignorance within the same person.
Funny AND topical. Well-played.
I just don’t see the appeal of Lil Bub. Beyond the inexplicable cashmoneymoney this furball is apparently bringing in, I mean. What is the galvanizing factor behind this cat?
I never said it was. I said he had the signs of Aspergers (which he was later diagnosed with BTW) and in another sentence I said he had a habit of lashing out violently when upset.
The server who originally sent the story in actually came and posted in the thread above further clarify his stance, like 2 days ago. As much as you want this to be some sort of attack against poor people, it isn’t.
I keep picturing an interactive Pilsbury Doughboy toy coming from this technology. He would wiggle and squirm when you poked him.
Look, I don’t know if you read anything I wrote above or even what the server actually wrote before you decided on this particularly abstruse brand of outrage to champion, but I’m urging you at this point to re-read either source. It is very clear the original author is mocking people who go out of their way to be…
I think what people are missing here is that the warranty program covering the jewelry is nation-wide, not the jewelry store, right? Mom-n-Pop stores wouldn’t want their customer databases to be intermingled if they were not part of the same company. This issue is on the warranty company to create and manage data…
It’s seriously screwed up that you assume white people are titillated by the sight of dead black bodies.
I had an ex with all the classic signs of un-diagnosed Aspergers. He didn’t take it well when I suggested he seek help for his tendency to lash out at the world violently when upset, but he eventually got help and is a much more balanced person to deal with. I shudder to think where he would be now if he hadn’t.
Food for thought - Time and time again I’ve found that those same idiots who throw nasty names around in front of their friends wanted to get with me in private. They were embarrassed by their desire for someone society tells them they shouldn’t want and when alone with me, admitted as much.
After a relationship ends it’s never constructive.
I’m in the midst of that right now. My best friends all have babies and bond together over their children. They’ve started going to events and having dinners without me, but posting photos on facebook so I know about it. Whenever I do see them I am treated like a de facto babysitter and get handed a child to…
Do you do bar mitzvahs?
Women being at fault for being raped because of what they wore apparently.
...they meet next to the someone criticized me I’ve practically been raped brigade.
...you know, it’s almost like a lynch mob.”
Not really. “Nasty” is in the eye of the beholder and a point of opinion. Tone policing is when you reject a message based on how it was presented. Had the server verbally wrung his hands a bit more or refrained from using the word “turd,” I doubt we’d be having this conversation.
