Unfortunately, the seats you’re referring to are probably of the European-spec Recaro option seats. The US-spec Recaro seats in the RS are the exact same seat as the Focus ST, just with different materials and stitching.

I couldn’t really care less about child seats, but from everything I’ve heard the ST will really only fit about one child seat (in the middle).
