Not sure what state you’re in, but it’s probably less about the $300/year in registration than it is the $10-20k in sales tax on those vehicles.

The BRZ is really pretty excellent for most casual wrenching. Pretty much everything the casual garage mechanic could want to do is easy to reach, easy to figure out, and pretty convenient.
RWD+snow should never be a deterrent.
Right? If I was specifically looking for that model, I might call the guy. Maybe. But I’d just as soon assume that “pics do not do it justice!” means it’s going to be reeeeeally disappointing when I get there.
