Back in May I traded in my leased 2019 Traverse. My lease was going to be up in December. I traded it in for a lease on a 2021 Ascent. The Subaru dealer gave me $2000 over my buyout. My payments went down on a better equipped vehicle, with better terms.  I feel like I got a pretty good deal.

Maybe the best way to decrease the number of large, unsafe vehicles is to have registration fees based on GVW instead of value. Want to drive a F-350 around to cart the kids to school and soccer practice? Prepare to pay a lot more than someone driving a something like an E-series wagon. Similar retail cost, but the

It sounds to me like the best option would be a small increase in a gas tax and a large gas guzzler tax on new cars making less than 25 mpg combined. The gas tax needs to be tied to something other than the whims of politicians, say inflations or GDP, etc.

This sort of reminds me of when my dad got his diesel. He had a 98 F-150. Short bed, regular cab. V6 with a stick and four wheel drive. It also had buckets, so only two people could ride. He was in the market for something bigger to pull a trailer. At the local dealer there was a 03 F-250, extended cab with the then

Wen I lived in Montana, a place I worked had a tile installer that had a surplus Forest Service Suburban. Same color. Had a 454, 4WD, and a four-speed with granny. Vinyl benches. It was pristine. The barn doors where awesome. Oh, and it was a 3/4 ton.

There is a 928 sitting next to a run down garage in a shitty part of my North Dakota town. I want to return it to it's glory.

Hard ‘No’. Speaking as someone who owned a 2013 Traverse and currently lease a 2019. I am counting the days until I turn it in. As a noted, respected YouTube mechanic out it, 'Never buy anything with the GM 3.6. Pre-2013 Traverses will have transmission issues. It isn't an if, but when problem. They are a mini-van

Io wat a flooring store warehouse in college. One morning, one of out tile installers backs up to the shop at full speed. He had a full pallet of tile in the back of his truck, not strapped to anything. Someone pulled out in front of him and the whole pallet slid forward. Hi dog had been riding in the back between the

Two anecdotal examples.

Would they tack on the cost of the computer monitor I would send flying off the HOA president’s desk when I inform them I wouldn’t be following this?

I don’t live in an HOA and pray I never do. Out of curiosity, what is the HOA’s ability to enforce the fines? If the RV owner decided to ignore them, who is going to force them to pay a fine? If the HOA tries to have the RV moved, wouldn’t that be grand theft auto, since it is parked in the driveway?

One of the largest dealership networks in the country is headquartered in my home town. They have so many cars they literally just park them anywhere they can find space. There are new GM cars randomly parked in abandoned commercial spaces all over town. They are currently pouring about 10 acres of concrete to place

There are so many people commenting on how could anyone buy a car without test driving it first. I agree you should sit in one to see how you like it and take it for a spin. However, why does the dealership need to stock every version of the car? Subaru makes less than a dozen models. The dealer could stock a couple

Where I live, if you see an Explorer of this vintage driving around, it has the V8. I had one and it was great. The AWD was very effective in the winter. The downside was the abysmal fuel mileage. In town, during winter, I was lucky to hit double digits on a tank.

They sell these in Brazil, too. We get the Equinox.

Does this make me a crossover?

Have had Legacy’s with the 2.5. I can’t remember ever thinking I needed more power.  That engine in the Crosstrek will be plenty and more. I also don't feel the need to compensate for any physical shortcomings.

TL;DR. Diarrhea?  Is that what happened?

Thats just what Nissans look like I guess.

So Chrysler took a complicated engineering problem and applied their collective Chrysler engineering prowess to solve it.  What could go wrong?
