I’m a little bit of a Ford fanboy, but they are really hitting it out of the park with their trucks lately.
Bronco, Bronco Raptor, Bronco Sport, F-150 Lightning, F-150 PowerBoost, F-150 Raptor, and now the new Ranger/Ranger Raptor. Ford has the benchmark lineup right now/soon. It’s really difficult for me to decide

7500 lbs with proper tow packages...

RAV4s have often had the ability to be a sleeper. I’m pretty sure I read that the RAV4 Prime is currently the 2nd quickest car Toyota makes behind only the I6 Supra.

I owned a 2015 SHO for a while. Loved the power and handling (It had the Performance Pack) but never really enjoyed the car as a whole. The thing is

To be fair, a $70k diesel truck is typically worked in a way that no other vehicle can be. A 10 year old Mercedes can’t do anything beyond what a 10 year old Toyota can do. The only difference is bragging rights and higher repair bills.

Most of those are Chevys that have been shoved aside to prioritize GMCs

No, not really. I track my fuel economy more out of curiosity and as a way to identify issues than any kind of financial concern. I can honestly say, fuel economy isn’t even in my top 5 concerns when shopping for different cars either.
Side note, I don’t pay attention to fuel prices either. I get it when I need it. I mi

So, I may have put a little too much thought into this, but haven’t done enough research... yet...

Sorry, Spain... Valencia, Spain. Not Italy. However, I’ve also found out that these engines are also being built in the Cleveland Engine Plant so pretty much my entire argument is invalid... Sorry!

That’s actually really impressive about the Ranger when you realize that Ford builds all 2.3 Ecoboosts in Italy. (At least that was true back when I was researching the Focus RS/Mustang head gasket issue) If the Ranger had a US built engine that percentage would be significantly higher.  The rest of the truck must be

Who else is sad that the rear window won’t roll down into the tailgate?

That Ford badge on the rear is pissing me off. Why on earth couldn’t they have centered it under the rear window?

I was fantasizing thinking about those a couple weeks ago. Found an awesome custom yellow one with a manual that really got me steamy. I’ve decided that this is one of my fetishes interests that I will pursue someday.

I’d like to see what percentage of those Fusions are going to fleet sales.

I’m thinking this could be Ford trying to beat Hyundai (Santa Cruz) to the small unibody truck market. A car based (Focus/Transit Connect/Escape) vehicle lifted with a bed.

I would love one of these for my daily commute. I’d like to preserve my 500 Abarth and keep it for fun, but the E would be perfect for going to work and running basic errands. I’m sure it’s relatively fun to drive as well.

Focus RS owner here... So, why can’t they just put the Focus RS engine in the Mustang with the full 350/350 that the Focus has? Wouldn’t that be easier than making yet another variant of the same engine?

Personally, I think an electric Beetle runabout would be fantastic. Especially if it stuck to 2 doors and a simple minimalist interior. Keep the range down to about 150-200 miles and market it against the other small electric “city cars” that are in the pipeline. That way it doesn’t compete against the Golf.

I just built a new gaming computer last week. Perfect timing for this news. Can’t wait!

The latest news out there is that between 50 and 100 RSes actually had faulty head gaskets. They recalled upwards of 27k cars to check them, but the number of actual faulty vehicles was MUCH less.
