It’s even worse than a Malibu look alike.. I ran across one of these in my SS and was embarrassed. That’s almost an identical front

Since I don’t work there, why does it matter if it’s a pre-order or a new game? Aren’t the prices the same? Or does GS get a discounted rate from the manufacturer on pre-ordered games?
I’m actually picking mine up shortly (as in coming weeks) if everything plays out properly! It will definitely be bringing attention in the upcoming year
I usually like to live dangerously and have sub 45min layovers so anticipate my flights being on time and running well. Well everything was going smooth as I was boarding my flight from MCI to ATL until everyone boarded the plane and the flight attendants came on and said “We are going to be a little delayed, the…
It’s not really that they “didn’t sell well”, it’s that they never anticipated it to sell records to begin with. They only projected 3k a year to be sold and they really did just that. With no marketing other than Nascar, nobody really knows what the car even is. I love mine and get asked on a daily basis about my…
Do explain? The SS is a direct adoption from the Commodore with just some badge changes. If it was such a horrible design, it wouldn’t have sold so well over there. The reason it didn’t have high sales is because it wasn’t meant to.. It’s an imported car from Australia. With no marketing other than NASCAR (even then…
No, I’m down in FL. I think the Smoking Tire one had an LSA supercharger on it
But the V has its faults also... While the drivetrain is a good part to have just because of the power, the interior is still “old GM” and it’s much smaller inside than the SS. Plus the SS powertrain is pretty stout, if it was crap, the Camaro SS would have failed along with the C6 vette.
I’ve yet to have an issue with my Whippled auto SS (which is for sale....). 630 rwhp as a daily is pretty much the best thing ever!
I came to say the same thing (but that’s not a GXP). I currently own both and would choose the SS over the GXP just for the interior. The GXP has the winning looks by far.
Oh yea, I know. It’s just them trying to cover their ass again. Some of the things that they have deemed “recalls” are unnecessary. Especially since it takes them 6 months to get a fix on the car since they only sell 3k of them yearly. Did you end up getting one or did it drive you away?
Yea it was the front. The whole ordeal pissed off a bunch of people (me included since I lost a sale of my G8 to it). And it was because it wore out overtime and not it being flawed from the factory. All they did was check mine out and said I was good to drive until the parts came. They ruined the SS sales because of…
No, it was on the front drivers seat. My G8 and SS both have the recall still open. It’s mostly due to the Caprice. Since it’s used as a cop car, the cops belt can rest on it and prematurely damage it from them getting in and out all of the time. Since the G8 and SS both use the same tensioner, they were recalled also
I know where you can find some but I think the guy just hoards them.. He’s very skilled at what he does to them though.
Since it took away my Commodore (SS and G8 owner), I hate it already. Is it a bad looking car? Nope. But it just took out yet another 4 door performance car option from us. I highly doubt they will put the TT v6 from the ATS-V in it due to competition to the Caddy. So now we are stuck with yet another mediocre car…
He was talking about the LSA blower. It bolts right up to the engine. Theres only minor other modifications you need. The whole swap can be done for around $4k
Unfortunately this wouldn’t really save much at all. Currently I’m paying $120 for 2 TV’s and internet through Comcast with the same channel lineup. Internet alone is $65-80 depending on your area (75mbs speeds), then add in this $35 (for who knows how long) charge and you’re only saving $10-20 a month.
They told investors they’re looking at what they could add to the menu, such as dessert
It may be “he with the most money wins” but just add a rule that all technology developed has to be open and available for teams to use. No secrets racing.
Except when GM does something stupid like this, they screw everyone else. Since there is now an open recall (with no fix), some dealerships will not sell the car due to the liability now being placed on them. If it was new, the car wouldn’t even be able to be sold and would have a stop sale placed on it. My G8…
