Pretty myopic view they have.
Pretty myopic view they have.
Doesn’t this reflect badly on Cars and Bids? I get it on Ebay everything is a free-for-all, but I thought C&B was suppose to be a curated list of cars for auction. If I can go on cargurus.com and find tons of CTR’s at MSRP then would C&B let them set the reserve price so high?
I agree on vibration, but sound isn’t all bad. My Mach-E GT has a interior acceleration sound you can turn on and off. I leave it on as it gives subtle feedback to the pedal position.
With a car that accelerates from 0-60 in 3.8sec with a press of a button, having a little aural feedback helps orient my brain to what…
DC fast charging plugs are also more susceptible to damage due to having two separate but necessary connectors to function. I’d much rather have the Tesla plug than the big DC plug so long as the plug was put into the public domain so anyone could use it.
+1.
The size of the connector is low on my list of wishes. It works fine. Concentrate on other pressing issues.
So...they’ve reinvented hydroelectric power to be more expensive and less efficient? Why not just pipe the water to the bottom where it would generate power then load it on trucks if you must deliver it to...place unspecified?
I bet Ford’s lobbying operation is far superior to Tesla’s.
I’d rather it go to the manufacturer who designed and built a desirable vehicle, than to a middle man who brings no value to the table.
“It’s been a great 2 weeks, but I’ve taken a new role as CEO of zombie Drivetribe.”
I remember those. I think they were fleet trucks, yeah? I’m sure there were some here in Oregon.
That’d be great if Ford made a Ranger EV, again.
They would sell the absolute hell out of an EV Maverick.
If it’s an electric Maverick, Dearborn can have my money right now.
I was going to say the same thing. Though I was also going to point out the “exoskeleton” on that car is complete vaporware, even if it isn’t actually formed out of 3/4" pvc pipe like it appears.

I remember when Patrick told me that you’d be taking over this unit. I thought that the entire site would become a dumpster fire.
Yeah... this is the last straw for Jalopnik on my daily visit radar.
Thanks so much to both of you for the quality journalism and insane ramblings (you can choose who gets which accolade).
I would suspect Jalopnik would not link to a competitor
Sidewall is your friend. Because rubber and air are softer than steel and aluminum.
