I thought this too. It seems to be reaching a bit to use an i3 anecdote, when that car is (a) so old now and (b) was completely out of left field and difficult to position / sell even when it was brand new.

“I felt like I knew more than they did,” Richards said.

It’s not a slow year for RPGs at all. Baldur’s Gate 3, Starfield, Cyberpunk: Phantom Liberty, Colony Ship, WH40K: Rogue Trader, Sea of Stars, FF16, Diablo 4, Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn, Wartales, Persona 5 Tactica, Star Ocean: The Second Story R, For the King 2, etc.

Look, I don’t want to be annoying about it, but RE4 has no business being up for game of the year. It’s a fantastic facelife, but it isn’t a new game. The same goes for Deadspace (which, FWIW, I think was always a more interesting action horror game than RE4), and I’m glad that one didn’t get nominated.

Nope. The 4XE is a typical plug-in hybrid, where the electric motors only assist the ICE. This design has zero mechanical connections between the ICE and the road.

Yea, I guess. Off topic, but who thinks flying a minor by themselves is a good idea on any level?

Range extended BEV trucks definitely makes sense. Trucks have plenty of space to put both EV and ICE drivetrain and related parts, weight is of less consequence, and are typically not street parked on a daily basis. But Toyoda was speaking across the whole market of cars and crossovers, and there I disagree

Based on Ram’s description, it appears to be a plug-in series hybrid electric vehicle. The truck only receives propulsion from the electric motors, but has a range-extending gas engine onboard that powers a generator. The truck can determine how to use the generator’s power, depending on how much power it needs to

Yeah i couldnt care less if they trust Ford, when I dont even trust them

If you are gonna dump corpses of Legitimate Business Rivals in the back of the truck, ya gotta tip your trash collector ya goombah. That is just polite.

I imagine the arm would injure Evelyn quite severely.

The whole thing boils down to “don’t be an asshole” and everyone gets along just fine.

Things are never as simple as some people make it out to be.

For hating Tesla so much, this site sure blabs about them a lot...

Sure, the Cybertruck looks weird, but if they undercut Ford, Rivian, Chevy, etc on price, they’ll sell like crazy. Back when I bought my Mach-E, the MSRP was cheaper than a Model Y and I got $10k in state+federal rebates. I didn’t want a Tesla anyway,

It’s the perfect size for Bladerunner to store the blades he runs.

For fear of sounding like a Tesla fan boy, where is the struggling? A couple tire squeals? That’s it?

PHEVs already have the same $7500 incentive as BEVs. Why aren’t they as popular? Hard to say for sure. My guesses:

His only response was “yeah but this one is here today”.

If you are basing a purchase with a cost that large on a “must-have-it-today” mindset, then you are a) exactly who the dealer was looking for, and b) deserve the life-lesson you are about to get.  Good on you for walking away.  No way to I buy a car on a “I can get it today” basis vs I can save thousands to have in in

You can buy a base Mach-E with like 220 miles of range for $5K under MSRP, but the best deal I see online for a ~300 mile version is still $56K. This is competing with a $50K Model Y. The Ford was overpriced and still not a great deal...
