I have not had spotting, but naturally my cycle is about 21 days so without the hormone regulation so my downside is I just get my period more often which is kind of annoying but I think worth the trade-off. I have read that spotting (and bad cramping if you have it) does subside eventually so fingers crossed for you!

I am one month in on my Paragard IUD and am thrilled! Insertion wasn’t exactly the most fun I’ve ever had but a few minutes of wooziness for 10 years of no babies = WIN!
