Just from reading the title, I was sure this was going to be a video by Vlad at Garage54. The Roadkill show has gotten boring lately (they get so many free parts from sponsors that the cars don't seem to break down), but I like these Garage54 videos a lot. Garage54 is my new Roadkill.

Good to know! I kinda like the Caravan, but I know I am weird in my car taste. I also like Hudsons and various other cars that most people find uninteresting. *shrug*

Ah, that’s like a riddle. Loyal to one brand. And there is only one model that doesn’t have a dreaded powertrain component. I am going to guess the dreaded component is one of those modern 8- or 9-speed automatics. No idea what brand though. I give up ... tell me!

These are great. If there was nothing like it on the market, I’d say “go ahead and pay $33k.” But, I think the Fiesta ST is the modern CRX Si. And, I’d rather have a cheap used Fiesta ST than this.

Mahk knows you want a 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara

Not sure about the Ranger, but the legroom in the back of a current-gen F150 is huge.

Came here to say that. Or a Model 3.

I had a Fiesta with the manual transmission. It shifted flawlessly. More pedals, less problems.

I’d say the Eclipse Convertible was even less cool than an SRT-4. But, the characters in the movie all thought it was cool.

In principle, I agree that the Skyline was a better choice than the Neon SRT-4. However, the Skyline played a pretty minor role -- it was just in one race and then it was taken away by the police.

Actually, I only care about 24 Hours of Lemons

Agreed. This may be unpopular opinion on Jalopnik: Compared to the jalopies I used to drive, leasing a $200/mo new car has saved me countless hours of wrenching at inopportune times.

Cheapest approach would be for Subaru to bribe JD Power. Pretty soon, Subaru will be up there with Chevy for the “Award for the most made-up awards.”

The Polestar 1 is sorta cool. But, as overpriced hybrids go, I think it's the next Cadillac XLR (aka double price Chevy Volt).

Have you tried Blade?

And that's after taking Bart the wrong way to get to Caltrain.

Interesting. There is a dealer near my house in the Bay Area that has a bunch of them. What area are you in?

There are plenty of new regular-cab F150s on the lots today. Looks like there are more longbeds than shortbeds, but shortbeds are definitely out there.

I was debating between a 3-Series or a C-class. I ended up deciding on a new VW Golf and keeping the change. It’s quiet, comfortable, and it has a good balance of compliant but enjoyable suspension.

Challenge accepted. Now, I need to rent a Renegade and wheel it.
