So, how many puffalumps can it carry if filled totally full?

That would still be sort of annoying. Chronic mechanical problems on a new car can be fixed under warranty. When you take a car to have an intermittent squeak fixed ... good luck.

Yup. A poor transmission design can singlehandedly take down a CR reliability score. The Fiesta had Poor reliability for several years due to its finnicky PowerShift dual-clutch transmission. The rest of the car had a few problems, but most US Fiestas had the PowerShift, and a lot of PowerShifts had problems.

Easy enough to maintain ... lol ...

I own one. Compared to most cars, it’s a pretty average shift action. Not offensive, but not special. However, compared to a pickup truck, it is a great shifter.

Oh those damn clips. Every time I have to pull the door panels off my V70 (to fix the locks AGAIN), I break some plastic rivets and some clips come unglued. This happens no matter how gently I remove them using proper tools. Sigh.

You and me both. I daily drive a BRZ. But, I keep my V70 T5 manual wagon around just in case I eventually make enough money to send it to Icon to make it better than new.

Owning a 1998 is no picnic either. My 1998 V70 runs a lot of stuff using vacuum lines. Instead of electrical gremlins, it has vacuum line gremlins. Well, actually, it has electrical gremlins too.

My 1998 V70 has a tan interior and it is in pretty good condition. At 210k miles, the passenger seat leather is a bit dry, but not cracking. The driver seat and rear seats don’t have visible wear and seem to be in good shape.

Dear unwashed masses, the Prizm is a Toyota, the Storm is an Isuzu, and the others are Suzukis. You secretly want a Japanese car, but your conservative 1980s grandparents want you to own ‘Murican cars. We solved your problem. You’re welcome.

Storm: straight line speed

It looks like it is wearing a blue diaper here.

Here it is on google street view:

Hahaha! I think I know exactly where this is in San Jose. I lived within walking distance of this.

Came in expecting a Hayabusa swap. Leaving moderately satisfied.

Rental cars at track days are fun.

I would have bought those in wagon form, but they were only offered as sedans. :)

Yeah, me too. I have a BRZ, and I do a lot of urban driving and getting stuck in traffic. The cushiness of the SL500 seems nice, but the BRZ is civilized enough for me.
