How do run groups work at test-and-tune days? Is it divided into novice/intermediate/advanced, or can you go out on the track whenever you want?

PCA is my favorite organization that sponsors track days. I went to 3 PCA track days this year... the instructors are fantastic, the air is full of flat-6 wail, and the track fees are pretty affordable (<$250-300 in the pacific northwest).
I took my Fiesta to 7 track days this year. It has a warranty, and I was really hoping to have some DeMuro-scale mechanical failures that I could fix under warranty. It'd be hilarious, right?
Also, instructors usually cost you $0! In my HPDE/track days with BMWCCA and PCA, I've always observed that the instructors really want to help — and they're not paid (except in free track time).
Nice video! I also track a Fiesta.

Personally, I'm a fan of older trucks with no options. I see a certain elegance in a 2.3L regular cab 2WD manual Ranger. I would spring for an XLT and the 7' long bed, though.
For the US market, I'd half expect VW to charge $90k for it and call it the Porsche Amarok.
If you think that's bad, try shopping for a manual Lincoln LS on Autotrader. Manuals exist, but the probability of being a manual is lower than the probability of an internet sales manager accidentally checking the "manual" box when selling an automatic.
The usual loophole for avoid crash testing is to market a car as a "kit car." The Caterham 7 would never pass emissions or crash tests, yet it survives because you're theoretically supposed to assemble it yourself.
I agree!!
Hmm, I mostly agree with you.
Haha! In LeMons spirit... a "replica" of this australian V8 RWD touring car Altima would be awesome. Sawzall, dead Altima, dodgy malaise V8 motor. What could possibly go wrong?
(Clarkson voice) Yezzzzz.
I initially thought that was Snape.
Pansies. Just a bit of smoke... I bet it would still go a few more laps. Get it back out on the track!
I completely agree. Albeit, the GT-R is a Nissan that's built (probably?) and sold alongside Sentras and Altimas.
Your Logo is like an HR-V Superleggera! :)
Also, Flywheel.
