Meh, I'd rather have a Jetta Sportwagen.

On a number of occasions, I've driven my Miata 800 miles in a day. Fast. Cops don't seem to notice me...I've never been pulled over in a Miata. Despite my license plate being HOON.
Didn't George Costanza have one briefly in Seinfeld? That pretty much says it.
Yup. I'm glad people buy new cars, so I can buy them used. :)
Argh, that's rough. On the other hand, I see a few cars running around my area (Berkeley, CA) with British Columbia or Ontario license plates. More commonly, I see Oregon plates, presumably because people like Oregon's lack of sales tax. I wonder if you could register an MX5 in Oregon, and keep it in Canada? :)
I think a Mini base or S hatchback with no options is actually a decent deal. The base and S are priced similarly to an equivalent Golf or GTI, respectively. For my taste (good handling, lots of steering feel, light and flingable), the Mini is one of the most entertaining hot hatches. I'd even say that a base Mini is…
Is it expensive to bring cars from the US to Canada? If not, could you come down to the States, buy the Miata of your dreams, and bring it to Canada?
E46 manual wagon, then?
What are line locks?
Soorry.
I think this is why one of the visitors to Earth names himself Ford Prefect in the Douglas Adams books.
here's the image that I tried to post earlier — it resembles a Panther Ute:
Hmm, I haven't test driven a Z — maybe I should!
When I test drove a genesis coupe, I found the genesis to be less nimble and precise than a bugeye WRX. I haven't driven a BRZ, but the genesis felt much more like a Mustang than a Miata.
How about a Panther Ute? Should be the ultimate Jalop vehicle, aside from a manual diesel RWD wagon.
There's a Mighty Max that always parks in my apartment building's parking lot. Next to my Miata and an other neighbor's BMW 1-series, all of these vehicles look normal-sized.
If I want to carry more stuff, I'll just buy some extra Miata.
There's a special 3rd world ruggedness to these steel wheels.
You should buy whichever car comes with free spellcheck.
