Not at this point. I wouldn’t blink if he said “eat your extra children.”

Uh, I don’t think the “lab leak” theory is how you put it:
I think it does matter. If it was a biosecurity failure, the world needs to know it because next time it could be MERS. There needs to be far more oversight/regulation if human error was able to kill millions of people & destroy the lives & livelihoods of millions more.
I was once walking down the street with my husband as he was telling me about a stand up special he watched the night before. I mentioned to him that I don’t enjoy stand up or find it particularly funny most of the time and a stand up comedian who was also walking down the street turned around, circled back, and tried…
A few months ago I tried to take up running by jogging 60 seconds, walking 60 seconds, every other day for a week. I had such bad tendonitis that I couldn’t go to dance class and had to take my last Tylenol III. I’ll have to stick to long walks up and down hills, and dancing for cardio.
The difference is closed environment, time and especially the employee conditions. You are crammed to a closed space with thousands of other people for weeks at the time, while the people who serve you live in cramped conditions and won’t get paid if they don’t work, sick or not. Subsequently, just one sick kitchen…
Coronavirus met your cruise mate Norovirus! Have a couple drinks. Get to know each other!
Yes, conservatives are well-known for ignoring things they disagree with. Cool story, bro.
you are a colossal idiot.
And I think we’ve found the flaw in that plan...
The real difference is that, if and when you do get COVID on that cruise ship, the conservative will disown you and ban you from coming back to the US, while the liberal will lecture you but allow you to come back and find ways to cure you.
The difference is liberals recognize/care about the potential danger to others that comes from going on a cruise.
“I hate crowds almost as much as my wife.”
You would think that launching a new ship, especially with everything that’s happened, they would have went out of their way to make sure to vaccinate everybody, as this is pretty bad press for the cruise industry in general, and them specifically. I would have required everyone that sailed be vaccinated in advance.
Just another reminder this pandemic is not over and won’t be for sometime.
It turns out, you don’t even need a gaggle of coughing, sneezing passengers to get your crew sick from COVID-19.
+1 FHLOSTON PARADISE
I share the sentiment, but upon further reflection, there is most definitely a dollar amount that would get me onto a cruise. I don’t know what that dollar amount would be, but if anyone reading this really wants me on a cruise ship, I’m taking offers.
If you have watched The Fifth Element, you would know that cruising is as much a part of our future as personal hoverboards.
Even in the best of times a Cruise ship is still a floating petri dish.
