Exactly. Born 1980, and I don't feel like it's fair that I remember being a teeny little 7-year-old reading about those impossibly cool Gen Xers like Winona Ryder in my good ol' TV Guides, and believe me, NO ONE was saying 1980 counted as Gen X then! But now that Gen X is old people instead of badass disaffected

Oh my god, my workplace doesn't seem so bad now! …no, that's not quite it— it's just as bad, but now I know it's not the only one like this!

I hear ya — well, no I don't, because of the music I listen to 8 hours a day so that my coworkers will see I have headphones on and leave me the hell alone.

I have no musical talent whatsoever but acknowledging the power of The Area is very important to me, so please allow me to wave a tambourine around or be a roadie or something.

I had to mumble it under my breath.

I would back that Kickstarter SO FAST

here comes dat #TeaLizard

You KNOW your shit is messed up when an insane kitty woman is sad for you!

Ha, I wish it was all at once! Two at a time is the limit that my household can bear and still have any functioning electrical cords at all.

My five totally carrot-obsessed bunnies beg to differ

That's what I keep saying! Everyone's biggest problem with her seems to be "she's dishonest" — so the people saying that actually find some politicians trustworthy? Which ones??

You're neat :) Both of your things are exactly what popped into my mind the instant I read the Ayatollah's post, only when I think about these issues I get too frustrated to try to express it, so thanks for doing the hard part of, like, sayin stuff good and stuff.

Are you telling me you're keeping your embarrassing personal stuff to yourself?! Don't be a rube! Put that shit up on Tumblr and get yourself a book deal.

I definitely think "those who feel me near pull their blinds and change their minds" is a reaction your average Licki Brush user would get a lot.

Oh wow, you just swung me from "Sure, I'd try skydiving once, what are the odds of anything going wrong?" to "NEVER NEVER NEVER."

I sure hope we see him next season! I'm disappointed if it's true the producers aren't sure how much he'll be around. I really like both the character and the actor, plus his interactions with Norman are fascinating.

I know, her excitement about fixing up the house, planting a garden, etc. was really gutting, knowing that wasn't in the cards for her. I was hoping against hope that she had a little longer to be happy with Romero. If only she hadn't given in on bringing Norman home early…

Interesting, thanks for the information — I'm glad to know that bit does make sense after all…

I was wondering about that! I didn't think I remembered Romero giving some sort of under-oath statement about Rebecca. That's a kinda glaring error…

That popped into my head just as I got to your comment! In fact, I think that's the only other TV death I can remember giving me this same mix of deep sadness with total, skin-crawling horror.
