Okay...so the link actually goes to Radar Online's "report" regarding an upcoming "article" in the National Enquirer based solely on anonymous sources. I have no idea whether she said any of that stuff. If she did, then she deserves every bit of scorn that's being heaped on her. But honestly, it sounds fishy to me

Marinated, baked, and sliced up in sandwiches instead of lunch meat is awesome. Also: BBQ tofu! Cook an onion or two in some olive oil, add tofu cubes and cook until a little bit crispy. Add your favorite barbecue sauce, serve over rice or just eat it out of the pan by yourself.

I don't understand why people get weird about tofu. I'm not a vegan but I use tofu in my smoothies - adds protein and thickens it like yogurt without the strong yogurty taste. I share this tip often and people are like "Ewww, gross!" - blended tofu is not gross!

I have been vegan for 15 years and no it doesn't have to be all hip and trendy foods. I eat whatever is vegan and love me some junk food. I am not in it for health reasons.

I eat tofu on a regular basis. I keep some firm tofu marinating in various things my fridge at all times to put on salads. And I love to put silken tofu in smoothies and stuff to beef them up and add a little protein.

Tofu is amazing. Period. So versatile, great source of lean protein.

See, that sounds good. I would eat that. Some people (my in-laws, in particular), will buy some tofu, open the package and just dig in. Then they say "Ew, tofu tastes gross." Which it doesn't, if you do something to it!

I myself am not vegan but most of my friends are. Luckily here in the Bay Area vegan restaurants are abound. Even if they didn't exist, being vegan is still pretty damn easy. If you are cooking it does not need to be a complicated endeavor. Most of my at home meals involve black beans, brown rice, quinoa and big

Yeah, I'm on year 4 myself and can say that my grocery bill is significantly less now than it used to be. Except when peaches are in season. I always spend my paycheck on peaches.

It is pretty mainstream in my non-vegan house.

I was a vegetarian (not vegan because I ate the occasional egg or cheese) that lived on the foods you mentioned. Tons of tufo. I agree that it doesn't need to be super expensive or complicated.

That's what I thought. Ugly gets what ugly deserves. He can't realistically have been thinking that the brand would have stayed popular for long, though? It's a really, really specific design and those kinds of things usually don't age well.

Amen, What ruined Ed Hardy's brand is the fact that it is tacky as shit.

Re: Ed Hardy: I dunno, they still seem pretty popular with those Jersey Shore kids. Also, if you kind of hate all the people your brand is attracting, I feel like you need to re-think your brand?

And here I thought Gosselin was good for nothing.

I stopped following Bon Appetit because I was so tired of every other article lead starting with "vegetarians are so dumb harharhaharharhar". Even if we put aside the fact that humor based on alienating others is something we were supposed to grow out of when we left high school, it still makes no sense. Vegetarians

"We in no way meant to imply that women aren't just as masterful at the grill."

I was a "Bon Appetit" subscriber for years. A couple years ago I dropped my subscription. The magazine had become self-involved, arrogant, and annoying. The recipes often contained rare / expensive ingredients, weren't really suitable for home cooks (even skilled home cooks) and the writing, oh, the writing. It

This presumes she knew she was gay when she signed up— which seems unlikely? She probably only realized it during college as many queer people do. And she didn't exactly come out. She confided in an advisor who she presumably thought would keep her confidence, who then outed her to the rest of the school.

I thought a basic tenet of contract law was that illegal contracts are unenforceable. Isn't it illegal to discriminate against someone based on their sexual orientation? (I'm pretty sure it is in Canada, not sure about the US) If it is, anyway, then it doesn't matter if she signed a paper saying she wouldn't be gay
