I have been rolling around the idea of punting my car down the street with Carvana, but can already tell it’s beginning to cool off as well because my latest appraisal this week was something like $700 less than their initial appraisal of it about a month and a half ago.

The Seltos is a compelling package because it’s a “tweener”, bigger than the Soul and offers AWD the Soul frustratingly does NOT, yet it’s smaller than the Sportage. Still has the same peppy 1.6T DCT. KIA also tends to... just not calibrate the H/K corporate dry DCT as well as Hyundai [for the most part] does.

The problem isn’t NECESSARILY that you can’t survive on 6-figures in California. But that all the affordable housing is in very rural, or very rough, areas of the state. So if you have the kind of job that requires a commute, or even in some cases a stable internet…

If you like Michigan, that’s your call. Perhaps with a tinge of envy, but, that is the Michigander way.  Plenty of “Fuck California” people out there. And in some respects, I agree. California was the best thing that ever happened to me, but I don’t want to stay here.
