Not going to disagree that forced outing isn’t a shitty thing to do, but as I understand it Cook wasn’t really “in” at the time, he just lived his life as a gay man without making any formal announcement about it. It wasn’t really a secret to anyone, was it?

Same. Together with my partner for over 10 years, now. He has a CPAP and tends to toss and turn, and snore, I tend to stay in my little sliver of the bed barely moving throughout the night, but I like to kick a leg out and I can’t stand sleeping on the “closed” side of the bed like the wall side.

The snoring I got

Let’s also not forget the news this past week, that Musk is making moves to scoot his ass out of CA into Texas...

For those who want a hatchback, there will be the 2022 Kona N and N-Line.

I was tasked with driving pre-production Cascadas, back when they were still blanking out the badges on them in the US (and the also-extinct TourX)

They felt gutless, were a bit shaky, not at all fun to drive, and I was absolutely baffled that they kept the Nokia-phone style infotainment; down to the literal

Yeah I was kind of disappointed that Tesla half-assed their eject seat implementation.

Yeah SF Bay area. Between COVID work from home (and when we return, probably 50% on-site max, whereas before I was 100% on-site with WFH days if needed), and a bus stop very nearby...I almost can’t even justify owning my own vehicle. It’s to a point where a fast car would just be a waste, and a PHEV makes the most

I’m a supporter of the community, and love it. I just haven’t dipped my toes too deep in quite yet. And that’s just stuff on my end right now.

But never a mention of the Cobalt SS or the Sentra SE-R Spec V

I actually did seriously look at Sedonas SX, and it’s a nicely equipped van for dirt cheap. Even the ones with the reclining 2nds row Captain’s Chairs.

I did secretly enjoy my time owning a Grand Caravan; like a mobile office, that you could go and fold down the back bench and take a nap. But I don’t need a vehicle

Annoying since I’m finally in a place where a used car makes sense, so I may just go used. Then the prices jacked up.

But - at the end of the day, I’m still looking to pay ~$20k instead of ~$35k. Which is still 15k less.

OH, I did read about that at the time but dismissed it as a test mule and nothing more.

? The 2.0T is a Theta II motor, and the 2.5T is the Smartstream (Theta III). I haven’t read anywhere that the 2.5T is going into any of the sub/compact N cars. Only in midsize and up N-Line/N.  Unless you got them mixed up?

If it’s using the same running gear, it’ll still be 275 w/ a torque overboost with N-GS.

Kona N, and N-Line

That is an unfortunate truth.

Veloster N is the same running gear anyway. Same J platform, too.

Doomed to fail, regardless of the fact that they’ve been adding MORE SUVs and CUVs to their lineup.

Well I mean, clearly, my Elantra GT N-Line is just a body kit slapped on the base car.

I’ve already seen a handful of these in the SF Bay Area.
