If GM would try harder, maybe we all wouldn’t be throwing so many chunks of concrete at them.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.
They could stand to be a bit more Elastiq
Thing about it, too, is that Bronco resale is a big “????” right now. Whereas with a Jeep, especially a Wrangler, they tend to keep their value ridiculously well. So the interest rate isn’t as big of a deal, and when it’s quite low, the Jeep is the better deal.
Oh no offense, but, you won’t catch me dead back in Michigan again lol. I’m moving out of California, but I’m never going back to The Mitten unless I’m visiting my family.
It’s not unattractive, but it looks AWFULLY derivative. Which I guess most SUVs do anymore.
Which is frankly ludicrous. That’s getting past the point of reason, and they weren’t going to pay THAT much over asking. They finally lucked out, but, yeah.
Yep. I don’t plan to retire here, and am actively trying to leave in the next few years. Just need to get my professional career pivot established and put myself into a 100% remote job. I’m just here because i’m making good money relatively easily in a super stable job and reconnected with some friends.
And they keep getting outbid! They even got into a bidding war with two houses.... still outbid or the owner took their offer and ran with it
A number of which are likely not even people, but chinese investors.
I didn’t really care at all about the Bronco (even less so, a Jeep), but the presentation and marketing did it’s trick. It looks fun and adventurous, and I like that it got some interesting colors. Especially “ Area 51", even though I’ve gotten a bit tired of non-colors like Toyota’s Cement Gray, etc. but the effect…
I suppose we should be thankful that Mazda bothered with caving to the demands of the intenders, and putting the damned turbo in to begin with
A torquey high-speed cruiser can be a shorter wheelbase, smaller car, for sure. And a beam axle can make sense depending on that wheelbase (ie: Fiesta ST), but a lot of people myself included... won’t consider a compact sedan/hatchback to be a “high speed cruiser”. It just doesn’t look like it’s marketed that way. I…
Well, by that logic I saved an even FATTER green stack by ignoring the Mazda badge and going Hyundai, where I get a full IRS and still don’t even touch 30K, much less 35K. ;)
Sorry for running this over to death, but: stick axle, stick axle, stick axle.
Well the 2021 is shaping up to be more of a looker, and better engine and powertrain overall since it’s going full-Smartstream.
I think what’s even MORE disturbing, is the absolute DELUGE of sympathetic comments on Insta.
Squircles!
