It doesn’t get N treatment, because it isn’t an N car. True, the M cars were ferocious but Genesis is still a nascent brand and is still luxury oriented.

Well don't forget that they also have had Biermann for a few years now, and that seems to be working out great overall. Genesis and N brands included.
So that’s going to include such fine, sturdy, reliable vehicles as the Toyota Camry.
I’m not convinced that the facelift is coming to the US though 😒
They showed off the face-lifted i30 (EGT) a week or two ago.. But the sedan and hatchback are not on the same platform and have different development cycles.
I think it looks awesome. I just got done watching the whole stream. I certainly like it at least as much as my 2017 sedan, and way more than the horrible facelift it got for ‘19. New platform that they called “the K platform”. Which I ASSUME means “KD” platform, since that’s the convention they’ve been using for…
Something perhaps distantly related, but a little relevant.
Oh. Disregard my last reply. I thought this was a different thread. Ha. I can imagine you’re thinking “what’s this person going on about?”
I am on the cusp of feeling that way. Perhaps the 2021 refresh will clean things up. Though i otherwise have no problem with it
I’ll take the Excel, and raise you the (unfortunately-but-still-relevantly-named) Hyundai 45; Spiritual Successor to the Pony.
By modern/current standards, it’s really not all that unattractive of a vehicle (any more).

I guess I’m too much “the poors” to understand, but, BMW and MB’s design language has largely gone off the rails. (Audi, you’re on “Uggo-Watch”) There’s still some good holdouts (M2/240i, etc) but all the newer designs coming out are... eugh.ghhkhkghkhgkghkkkpbbbt....

+1 for CarMax. They gave me a fair offer on my ‘17 Elantra sedan. I presented it to the dealer I was working with to lease my N-Line, and they did the whole “Match + $500". Probably because it was my second transaction through them.
If it makes more power than the 2.0 AND is more efficient, then why in the hell isn’t the 2.5 now the base engine?
My sister bought one of these era GCs.
