Re-signing Hineyhole Island sure didn't help the Jets last night.

@BuffySummers: Absolutely fair point. The comment below yours is a perfect example of how the message I was sending could be misunderstood. I greatly appreciate your efforts to clarify and enlighten.

@BuffySummers: Lighten up. I'm not even sure how that "read more" bit got in there, I certainly didn't put it there intentionally. Could not do it again if I tried. Sorry that you managed to interpret that as some sort of personal attack.

@BuffySummers: No, that's not what my argument hinges on at all. Is it really that hard to understand my statement: "this in no way shape or form excuses the actions of the Jets."? This is not an either/or situation. The Jets were wrong AND the people responsible for encouraging her to dress provocatively were

@Benevolent_Dictatrix (patently absurd): Agreed, and even the most cursory reading of my comment would show that I agree with that. However the management of her station is profiting from their decision to at least allow and in all likelihood encourage her to exploit her sexuality for their profit. That is the point

I think it is absolutely deplorable that the Jets players, and coaching staff especially, acted as they did. They deserve to be punished in some way.

@DepecheNode: I'm sorry but you are incorrect. It would not have been a catch had it happened n the field, either. The rule states that you must maintain possession of the ball after you/it hit the ground, unless you have "made a football move" before it hits the ground. Not a catch according to the rulebook.

@DepecheNode: The people complaining about a blown call don't understand the rule. Although I agree the rule should be changed when the catch takes place in the end zone, as currently written the correct call was made.

Tawmeeeeeeee!

Now I can die in peace.

Ah Crap. Given the Indians luck it's only a matter of time until a million angry North Koreans storm the border as part of Operation: Bring Me Choo's Head.

@Aphre: In the court of law, sure. In the court of public opinion, no.

@TawnyJumprope: He was penalized under the NFL's personal conduct policy, which he quite clearly violated.
