I was at the reunion (which was amazing), and just to answer the question of why this is happening now - It was explained that Mondo Records tried to do a 15th anniversary re-release party but the rights acquisitions and red tape of it all took two years. BUT, it’s happening now and it’s jerkin’
Josie and the Pussycats is fun as hell, and way way way more clever than anyone was willing to give it credit for back when it came out. I love that damn movie.
