Good article, although it’s important to note that while Atleti is an underdog relative to Barca/Madrid and the other elite teams of Europe, it’s still a very wealthy team compared to most. Atleti represents something of football’s upper middle class, a team that requires everything to go right to contend but is able

A lot of people (who managed to stick with it) hate Chrono Cross for causing the Chrono Trigger cast to all suffer horrible fates, but that was one of my favorite parts. Especially back then it was rare for games to embrace unhappy endings like that.

Chrono Trigger was the first JRPG I ever played and what I compare them all to.

Who wouldn’t want to play for Wenger? At Arsenal you get that big EPL money without any of the expectations demanded at a big club like Chelsea or City. There’s a reason Alexis looks so much more comfortable at mid tier clubs like Udinese and Arsenal than Barcelona.

“Only” 11 teams is a third of the league.

OBJ is a hero.

RDR2/3 would be nice and all, but what I really want from Rockstar is Bully 2.

These are people who do everything together; human nature does suggest for some the threat of attraction will create complications. I don’t think the concern is that crude when

While most of their stuff is PR nonsense, when it’s good it can be really good.

I love Adore for some reason, but I think I’m the minority there. Everything after that was putrid though.

I think the religious part is key. While I find Mark Jackson’s preacher act to be phony, it appears to have genuinely inspired guys who already were religious like Curry. For a lot of NBA players, faith is a source of motivation, and that’s where Jackson has value. As long as he doesn’t have none of those damned gays

I mean, my own anecdotes from Flemish friends - good guys as long as you don’t bring up immigration, and especially not Islam. Also Flanders tends to be pretty politically xenophobic.

The Flemish people I’ve met in my life have also been some of the most overtly racist people that I’ve met. Not that the Walloons are a tolerant sort themselves, but the Flemish are another level.
