One would think that modern hardware security features, under operating system management, would enable anti-cheat that isn’t a rootkit but also is undefeatable by applications on the client.

Wikipedia says (on Wright’s article) this game isn’t a new reveal; it was first announced back in December 2021. Not quite May, but crypto was still inflating that bubble. That said, the other part of Luke’s assertion, that this should have been canned months ago, still fits.
To reinforce the point, isn't that Bill Gates' haircut too?
What was your opinion of Arkham Origins compared to Arkham Knight? The studio that made this was responsible for Origins; Rocksteady, who made the canon trilogy, including Arkham Knight, is making the Suicide Squad game.
Well, I guess if you take it in relation to the existence of the continent of North America...
Why in the fuck is revenge porn only a misdemeanor? That should be a huge-ass felony.
Kinja broke your embed. Might want to provide a mangled link.
As far as “full remake” goes, I disagree with you about the first two Solid games, especially since Snake Eater was originally that perspective as well. Perhaps it would be best to keep the overhead perspective, but I’m certain that a “normal” 3rd-person camera could work well.
It’s the studio that made Arkham Origins, so less faith out of me than if it were made by Rocksteady. (Hello, Suicide Squad.)
I don’t think I want a Metal Gear remake out of modern Konami. Let KojiPro buy the IP off of them, and Kojima himself can make the remakes. Otherwise, just port them all to modern platforms (taking out 4's Cell processor spiel, of course) and leave them the way they are. (Maybe put 2's skateboarding and 3's Guy Savage…
Tim Allen is closer to Jack Frost than Santa Claus.
So, Republicans, Republicans, and evolution that Republicans made possible.

The first generation of recompilers, probably not. That’s gonna be focused on just getting the damn thing to run stable. Second gen, absolutely. Both right stick and mouse.
Right-wing terrorists say “go woke, go broke.” The free market says to put an “or” in the middle of it. (This of course didn’t help G4, but then the only possible thing that could help would have been getting spun off from, and thus no longer beholden to, Comcast.)
Just because Ezra Miller is an utter piece of garbage doesn’t mean you should misgender them. Miller is nonbinary they/them.
It’s not actually Intel that’s the key figure on improving DirectX 9/11 performance. (And that’s part of the problem.)
The thing there is that Intel doesn’t actually have DX9/11 support, and it’s intentional. They rely on Microsoft’s D3D9On12 and D3D11On12 translation layers so that they can focus their efforts on…
I do need to say though... the 3DMark results that JayzTwoCents got are kinda suspicious. (In Time Spy Extreme, the A750 got a score of 6131 compared to the 3060's 4124 and the 6600 XT’s 4435. Port Royal got a similarly-large win. Game benchmark results were far less one-sided.)
And that’s why it’s good that Intel is getting into the game and selling at the lower end (which is still unfortunately up at the $250-400 range). If you’re not playing DX9/DX11/OGL games, the A750 and A770 are generally much better deals than the 3060 and 3070. (Comparisons to AMD’s cards are less rosy until you turn…
Everyone was still confused because they did both “Super” and “Ti” versions in the same generation. Do you know the difference between the 2080 Super and the 2080 Ti? Ok, yeah, one enhanced version is fine and not very confusing. (Still a bit of confusion on whether to get a xx70 Ti or a xx80 regular, but you do still…
