I second everything Saro says - especially Paint Tool Sai (unless you’re a mac). Photoshop can be overwhelming when you’re starting off, and Sai comes almost naturally and is as simple as it gets. Not to mention they have a free trial (I think it’s like $50 bucks or something to buy, but downloads are widely available…
