Eh, I’d snark but I’m sure that robbery was terrifying. Whatever brings her peace, I’m ok with it.

Oh, thank you, I’m glad it’s not just me who’s confused. Crystals were a big new age thing when I was a kid in the ‘80s, but I then they went through a long period where it was basically just the health food store owner and the wackiest of the high school English teachers who still believed. Then Spencer Pratt got

The crystal craze is so interesting to me. I’m glad they bring people a sense of calm! Genuinely, whatever fuggin works. But it’s such a strange thing. Fuckin’ crystals. What rich people nonsense. Does anyone know where this trend came from? From what I’ve read, it appears to have been a really excellent new-age

I’m waiting for one that doubles as a Kegel’s dumbbell.

All these alone-ass bachelors talking about what they would do if they could get a woman to even say “yes”.

You should put that in your online dating profile- I bet you’d find more than one person who would find it endearing.

Nona, this is good advice. I worked in a jewelry store, and here’s my take:

Every day I wake up the luckiest man in the world, and she wakes up somehow ignoring the fact that she can do so much better. ;)

Fuck diamonds.

When the better half and I started discussing marriage a few months ago, she made it clear that she’d rather use the money I’d spend on a rock to instead go on a trip somewhere. “Experiences, not things”.

That’s the detail you’re hung up on? Statements are being made via Twitter, of freaking course they’re not delving into every nuance of how HR decided she was also to blame in a dude sexually harassing her.

Engagement rings are the biggest scam in the jewelry business. But of course, she NEEDS one, so there is no choice. But 2 months salary MY ASS. You’re already getting an expensive as hell wedding ring. I’m not spending $20k on a fucking placeholder!

Ban ‘em. If someone wants to marry me they can take that money and spend it on my buying me my entire “To Read” booklist.

She was made to sign a document claiming responsibility for HER inappropriate behavior. That’s not mindblowingly-inappropriate enough?!

“It happened again” is in reference to what they deemed her own inappropriate communications, of which we are blind to their significance or lack there of.

I think this is more about IGN’s and specifically HR’s response to the incident, than the actual incident itself.

That HR response is beyond normal. HR is a department at the company and their job is to protect the company. The whole point of that document was to make sure that in case a lawsuit were to follow, they’d have an admission of guilt they could use to discredit the victim. HR is not your friend.

People need to realize HR departments aren’t there for your rights. They are there to protect the company. The company will always come first.

In her Twitter post Kallie also mentioned that she was informed she would be terminated if “it happened again.” That is some next level disgusting response to a very serious claim.

That HR response is beyond disturbing. Like they live on another planet.
