Lil’ Idiot looks just like my Pancakes. I volunteer at a rescue for baby ‘coons and Pancakes was my ‘coon bae for the summer. He was VERY doughy and liked to make castles out of dog food and grapes. He had huge paws and used to incessantly pat my face and coo while I snuggled him. I miss Pancakes (more than Waffles).

I’ve been called a succubus multiple times by multiple boyfriends over the years. Not sure what that says about me or the men I’ve dated.

It has always grossed me out how the whole family uses black people as an accessory to their “lifestyle”. From the men they date to their assistants and friends, they straight up use black people like Paris Hilton used her chihuahua and it is disgusting.

Wouldn’t surprise me if she and Kanye rip on black women something fierce, like soooooo many other black dude, white women couples.

Kim K (in my eyes anyway) has always been that certain kind of white woman married to a black man. She’ll gleefully reap all the benefits from being a culture vulture, but she really ain’t feeling us (black folks) like that.

I mean I love Barret, he’s not the best example of a POC especially the translation they did but people gotta remember it was the 90s. Finding non shitty representation in media/games while not impossible, was pretty rare.

Yup. Can’t think of anyone watching Alien/Aliens and complaining: “Yes, yes this is all well and good but WHO IS GOD?!”

I’ve lost interest in this franchise because I don’t give a damn about the story Scott wants to tell with these prequels. The story of David and the origins of humanity and what it means to play God has ruined the simple elegance of Alien.

I have another technical suggestion: make the movie as absurdly beautiful as you can. When I saw the first Alien I didn’t understand much of English but every frame told a story. That’s something even Prometheus got very right! But sadly Covenant was kinda lacking in the gorgeousness scale.

Early scores are usually overwhelmingly positive. Then they come crashing down based on public input. BvS was like 98% fresh before it was released
