Overwatch is more accurate than regular shots because they only go off if the target is moving (and is thus out of cover). That is, of course, unless you have them flanked. But if I only have a 30% chance to hit, I’ll just use overwatch and still have a good chance of hitting.

We can only hope.

Then it would no longer be turn-based and would just be another RTS game. You can’t play a turn-based game and expect the combat to look realistic.

I especially like how your objective is shown to you at the start of the mission but he still informs you when you find it (including taking control of the camera for a bit to make sure you don’t miss it)

It looks impossible to miss a point blank shot because both characters are standing still staring at each other but in FPS games and even real life, it is actually pretty common to completely wiff a point blank shot. Cops have been in shootouts a foot apart from each other with nobody hit.

So why was this game an exception?

If by superior, you mean more expensive for less power and can’t be upgraded, then yeah, sure. And you say that like “PC” is one entintiy. PC is a bunch of different companies putting out their own parts and various other companies cobbling said parts together in their own way. Apple is one company, but “PC” is not.

You jest, but I took my sweet time making that Shadow Chamber. Perhaps the game’s hints were too subtle for me.

Lag when? During gameplay? Other than the occasional stutter in a cutscene when the skyranger takes off, I haven’t experienced any lag and I have a common card (GTX970).

We only know how long it is based on what the devs are saying and they ALWAYS vastly overestimate their playtime numbers, without fail.

That’s just an expansion, which is bridging the two games together, but it is not a sequel.

So how does this work? Do you have to replay the game to get to the expansion? Start at the last save? A completely separate campaign?

Back in the day it used to actually be harmful to turn computers on/off constantly because the components would keep heating/cooling and it would damage over time. But these days we’ve gotten past that. But for your complaints, two of them only apply if you sleep in the same room as your computer and most people don’t

I guess you just don’t know fashion.

I don’t use Gamespot either. Kotaku was my primary game site (well, that and PC Gamer) for a while, but they’ve been so clickbait-y lately that I’ve been moving around elsewhere. It is hard to find a good game news site, it seems.

I don’t use IGN, but Kotaku is pretty notorious for their clickbait...

Gotta get them clicks, bruh.

Maybe if we add convicted felons with residents under the age of 18?

*grunts in agreement*
