All Cops Are Baristas

I’m enjoying the TikTok memes of people carefully editing Rowling’s name off of their HP posters, calendars, book covers, etc. “Wow, the books wrote themselves, it’s like magic!”

“We support the rights of all of our clients to express their thoughts and beliefs, and we believe in freedom of speech. It is our duty, as an agency to support all of our clients in this fundamental freedom and we do not comment on their individual views.”

For a moment, I half-expected him toss that hat to the ground in disgust.

I love that his orange make-up is smeared all over the inside of his collar!

You got to remember too that there was NO cap on tickets reserves. People keep thinking that its all the Tik Tok people to blame but anyone could have gone to the arena, requested a ticket, and walked in. That was what the overflow was for.

For industrial fans, Marilyn Manson’s cover of “This Is Halloween” from The Nightmare Before Christmas is on ITunes and utterly wondrous.

Rufus Wainwright “Hallelujah” and Pearl Jam “Last Kiss”. (I didn’t realize either were covers when I first heard them, but.... when I heard the 60's version of Last Kiss, I was like wtf this is jaunty, totally inappropriate! lol.)

Hallelujah by the Swedish Idol winners.

Because the Night-10,000 Maniacs

Surf Report - The Trooper

Im also a huge covers fan! Always and forever: Eva Cassidy singing Fields of Gold. And Jill Scott singing Lovely Day is just the best way to start any day ever. Also Dolly apparently did a version of Shine that is pretty awesome.

Favorite covers, I would have to say are Rufus Wainwright’s version of Hallelujah, and The Fugees Killing Me Softly.

I love covers, myself! “You are my Sunshine” by Johnny Cash, and Jimmy Buffet doing “Ripple”.

Good evening fellow Jezzies! I hope that everyone is doing well keeping the social distancing going and I’ll say it a thousand times to those of us protesting: Keep going, we love you!

As always I hope that this finds everyone well. Quiet week here as the tiny human & I mainly hung out in our yard. My husband works insane hours so I feel like the two of us have become hermits hiding in our little green oasis. But as we try to navigate living our lives in this new world I am still anxious about

I wish you miraculous good weather or, failing that, a really large and very waterproof gazebo on sale

Sooo how is everyone doing with this coronacreepingauthoritarianismvirus?
