Thank you for being so open about your experiences with self-harm: I know there are plenty of people including myself who can sympathize with the reasons for/causes behind self-harm that you listed, but few could put it as succinctly and humanely as you did.

I definitely feel like Tavares should strongly consider San Jose, he won’t have the best group of wingers to work with but he’s a classic example of a center who makes those around him much better. He could maybe even turn Labanc into a 30 goal scorer.

Sorry to hear that you’ve been removed from your support system but I know you got this and things will be back to normal soon. Stay tough!

Sending positive vibes your way, better days are soon to come! Here’s a video of one of my favorite comedy groups that might cheer you up:

I made a bookmark for a friend!

One Day At A Time is sooo underrated!

The difference in gap control between the Winnipeg and Washington series has been night and day; Vegas put on an absolute clinic against Winnipeg.

No special plans but I just wanted to say how envious I am that you got to see Mulholland Drive in that environment, that movie is nothing short of amazing and I can only imagine how fun it must be to experience with a theater full of people.

I’m in complete agreement with PatFanda and Marillenbaum; treat yourself well! I was in a very similar scenario earlier today, and doing the things I would normally do to wind down for the day (going for a walk and listening to my favorite ambient music) worked well. I highly recommend the band Hammock for anyone

I can sympathize with the writing being too real for some people who have suffered from suicidal ideation or attempts; I thought they did an incredible job examining that topic from all angles, and some of Rebecca’s lines in particular really hit home for me.

I LOVED season three of Crazy Ex Girlfriend for this reason: Its unflinching portrayals of suicide and mental illness. There are a few less important reasons, like the fact that I now have a theme song for my trips to the zoo with my baby sister...

Thank you for being so open about your mental health; I am currently going through a somewhat similar experience of being diagnosed and it’s extremely helpful to know that other people have managed to thrive after being diagnosed. You’re awesome.

Fiona and it’s not even a fair fight!

I think unfortunately one of the reasons he’s having to take so many penalties is that as effective a center as he is Eller has never been the fastest skater. That’s a more significant issue when you’re playing the Lightning.

This IS fine, they’re significantly outperforming the expectations everyone put on them for this series, and they’re not even close to out of it yet. Don’t give up hope just yet!

You can be upset with him in the moment for his penalty troubles, but let’s not act like he hasn’t been a big reason why they’re in the conference finals in the first place. He and Stephenson have been awesome.

I still love some of his work, particularly “Dancer in the Dark” and “Dogville”, but I don’t really care to try to defend him and I have to admit that your assessment is so on point as someone who used to be that kind of movie fan.

That’s awesome, karaoke can be an anxiety-ridden experience but the fact that you nailed it (and an Adele song to boot!) is amazing. You may have convinced me to try dragging some of my friends to a karaoke night soon!

Gonna treat this like the nails thread and post mine, purple is my favorite color and my friend at work picked out the green for me:
