This movie set a new record for the earliest I’ve walked out of a cinema. It probably helped that my tickets were free but good god I was so bored. It was so beautiful but I was all like ‘if I just wanted to look at pictures of bleak majestic landscapes for 2 hours I could go on bloody tumblr’
My husband and I love Fargo, but — living in Minnesota — it’s a secret. People resent the shit out of the whole franchise, and there is no changing that. I keep on meaning to see if I can find out if ratings for it in MN are lower than other places.
This whole season of South Park felt like it was more about (deservedly) ripping metro Denver a new one over all the construction and “urban renewal” that has gone on over the last few years, and the faux white liberalism that comes with it.
Yeah, this season of South Park has been pretty damn incredible so far (I am about two episodes away from what I assume is the finale). Do I agree with everything the show is saying, not at all, can I still find it hilarious and at times spot on, absolutely.
Never watched Fargo but I feel like the criticisms of GoT and South Park in the original post above are more about the shows’ politics than about the actual quality of the show.
