Around 15-16 years back a neighbor of mine molested another neighbor, a pre-teen girl. Cops held the dad back, but only after he got one good hit in. They didn’t hold him back all that much, to be honest.
That man, while in the wrong and should be punished, is a god damn hero and it’s too bad he didn’t make it five feet further.

Those officers did their job compassionately. They stopped him and didn’t hurt him. The man was in pain. When the father asked them as the end “What if this happened to you?” I thought I saw the officer say “I know...”.
