Even though he's been redeemed in Wolverine & The X-Men, I feel like Kid Omega deserves an honorary mention. Partially because he did so much damage under Grant Morrison's pen, partially because he was responsible for the Schism storyline, but mostly because of this image.
GI Joe comics tend to be hidden gems. All the stuff by Larry Hama in the 80s was great (I have so much love for the Silent Issue), and I tend to like the newer stuff I read more than I dislike it. Hell, even the old Transformers comics had some great moments, like introducing Death's Head to the Marvel Universe.
The Planet Hulk theory certainly is a reasonable assumption. Sakaar is a setting in the Guardians of the Galaxy mobile game, complete with Caiera, the Red King, and the Green Scar version of Hulk.
