While Gunn is clearly a parodyist through and through, often the key to good parody is a deep understanding and appreciation for the object of parody.
I really liked Krypton. Was hoping that it would have been renewed for a third season. Granted the shows Lobo felt more like Joe Dirt, than “The Main Man”, but he added a dose of (unintentional) humor that the story needed.
