Is your argument really that the existence of institutional racism absolves indivduals of responsibility if they decide to fire guns at police officers? (Or committing arson?)

Is “tone policing” the new get-out-of-rhetorical-jail-free card that you’re supposed to play when someone points out the flaws in your argument?

Is there an opposite of victim blaming, where you blame everything but the person who actually did something?

Season 1 is pretty shitty for the depiction of women, but people should still watch it because it’s a plain old good show, in spite of the gender problems. This season is pretty skippable.

I think this is 100% right.

Thank you for the insight! I had only heard of the obvious DUI context, so I didn’t know it had larger reach.

Thank you. I’m also not a troll, even though I do often push back against things that seem (to me) ill-conceived or unreasoned.

I’m not a lawyer, so I don’t know. My understanding was that there were specific statutes that held bars accountable for drunk driving — which is why you hear about that thing commonly — but I’ve now learned that they apparently can apply to any bodily injury. I just can’t personally recall having ever heard about a

nice try, troll — you aren’t fooling anyone.

You are an anti-Lana troll who is trying so hard to derail the thread, but no amount of baseless insults to me can take her shine :)

holy shit did you just drop a “yo momma” burn? way to keep things current!

She’s also grown exponentially as a live singer since that unfortunate start.

You seem angry today. Everything OK?
